England U21 goalie James Trafford has re-signed on loan for another season from Citeh. He is joined today by 18 yr old Conor Bradley, a right-back and another year-long loan from Liverpool. He is already a full Norn Iron international but looks like he has dropped down the pecking order at Anfield after they signed Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen. This is the way to go now; picking up good younger players from the very top clubs, both of whom have satisfied themselves that their players will be properly looked after at BWFC. Up the Whites!

Is Pattaya really cheaper than Phuket ?
champers replied to Baron Samedi's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
The OP might have been better off asking which was more value for money (VFM). Generally speaking you get what you pay for. I live in Pattaya and like it here; the sea is dirty but I can swim at my condo, where there is also a gym. Cheap public transport is a big plus too. Pattaya is a little sleazy but I enjoy that from time to time. Phuket; and many other places; is only an hours flight from U-Tapao, and vice-versa. -

Immigration do the same; it's recycling and good for the environment, don't you know? There was a new Data Protection law enacted just last week I think. There is talking the talk, but then no walking the walk. Laws are only as good as their enforcement.

We can all make a judgement about the quality of the players being bought in when you actually buy some. I predict you will be gazzumped by Champs League contenders for the real quality e.g. Nunez and Perisic so far, more to follow. -

It is not so much about getting shot of fringe players but NOT getting rid of regulars who failed miserably to deliver under 2 managers. -

None of that 6 played much of a part last season so I don't see how things will improve because they leave. -
What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2022)

Whilst channel hopping, I happened accross a 3-part documentary series on CNA called Make It Work and was hooked. In 3 x 50 minute episodes we follow the fortunes of three people made redundant as a result of Covid and their trials and tribulations to start new careers to support themselves and their loved ones. The people are: a young chap in Singapore, a lady in Bangkok and a former air hostess in Hong Kong. At times inspirational, funny and moving, it is one of the best things I have seen for a long while. All episodes are available on YouTube, CNA Make It Work. -
Klang's pavements are dire, I agree. I think that during Covid a variety of factors have slowed progress: labour shortages ( many foreign workers went home), shortage of funds and part of the budget being diverted to such projects as handing out food parcels and managing Covid testing and vaccinations. Hopefully the pace of progress will speed up, maybe prompted by the new mayor ... or maybe not.
