No, I don't eat bananas, or any other high potassium fruit, veg these days. I'm determined to deal with it. I'm grateful for any advice.

St. Louis no longer offers tests w/out seeing a doctor. My husband used to get PSA checked. Not anymore. Just got 1 test at Bkk Christian & had planned to go to RSU. Will go back to Bkk Chr. for full profile. Tks for the tip about lab fees.

Many thanks Sheryl. I will follow your recommendation.

Thanks. This gives me some hope. I've been careful with the diet but obviously somewhere is a "trap". I haven't used salt in cooking for years. Also watch fruit veg. Coffee is hard for me. Downloaded some charts about diet.

I have limited kidney function (70%) due to part removal of left kidney 25 yrs ago. Suddenly, potassium has gone up to 5.3. Here limit is 5.1, In Europe it is 5.5. Last test end July was 4.9. I just got present test at Bangkok Christian, no doctor involved. Don't want to let this get out of hand. Question is why does it go up? Could medication be the cause? Had eye op @ Medpark where they gave me Diamox, 1 Adipine & Ciprobay. Neither is kidney friendly. Test was 2 days post eye op. Would be grateful for advise.

I need to keep an eye on my kidney issue. Can anybody recommend a specialist in Bkk? I made a start at the new hospital on Rama IV. Seem to have picked the wrong doc for me. Clash of personality. Paid 2400Thb just to be given a lab appointment 2 weeks later.

The more tourists, the more new variant infections they will get. How are infections supposed to go down after New year with foreign and local tourism travel over Xmas and New Year? Especially, tourists who don't consider it necessary to wear a mask.

I used him when he was still on Ekkamai. Still regret the money I spent. Cleanliness & hygiene (towels) left much to be desired. My impression at the time was that it was all about selling as many appointments as possible regardless of need.

Using a new agent for renewing retirement visa
Letseng replied to DomD's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
It is correct provided the initial non O ret. extension is "straight" & not a "doctored" one. In latter case it gets difficult doing it yourself. From ED to medical to non O retirement? ???? -
You never know what check in counter staff requires as rtn ticket is a requirement. Check with your Thai embassy rules.

Will new XBB strain cause COVID to resurge in Thailand?
Letseng replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
How often do you want to get Covid? Less dangerous or not, it is more transmissible. Germany is seeing more infections this year than they ever had since the pandemic began. Many hospitals are no longer accept any patients, operations are being put on hold. Consider to keep your mask on when indoors. -
May be TH falls in line with apparently EU new anti money laundering rules. We have a credit card issued in EU. After 20 yrs they require new ID proof, proof of residence in TH for the partner card. Deadline was within 10 days. I didn't respond. See what will happen. We will let the 2nd card go. Gets hardly used.
