Believe only available as an import under the trade named medication manufactured by Pfizer.
Probably only available in larger pharmacies and there is unlikely to be much if any saving to be made compared with Europe

Multiple entry tourist visas do not exist.
If you have a tourist visa it will be for one, two, or three entries.
Each entry can be extended by 30 days at a cost of 1900Bht but not at weekends.

Those with AB group blood can receive Group A,B or O type blood in an urgent situation.
Clearly best if the child cab be found an AB donor but not essential.

If you are determined to come to Thailand then I suggest you just do it !
Narcotic medication however is very difficult to obtain and that is a FACT.
You can believe that or not.
Continuing to post here will change nothing.

Why would I speculate ?
The clinic does have a website and the doctor is a Psychiatrist with a special interest in addiction......................FACT !
Detail of the doctor here !

If a new passport has been issued the "old" one is cancelled and no longer valid for travel.
-
Just present both passports on entry.
-
The clinic mentioned has a web presence and claims to provide psychiatric care/treatment to addicts.
It does not appear to offer care or treatment to those with chronic pain management needs.

Most countries require Importers/Exporters of drugs to be licensed.
I expect the medication you are seeking to export will be prescription only in the USA and therefore illegal to import.
A prescription written in the US has no validity in Thailand and certainly would not allow the movement of large quantities of drugs across borders .

"I am on a retirement visa. So I am in a diffferent situation. But I find it goes very smoothly for me when ever I go in for my yearly extension or to have my visa transferred from my old pass port to a new one when I take my 56 year old wife along. Never a problem.
Here in Chiang Mai they don'rt seem to care if you are dressed like a tourist or a business man."
I am not sure of the point you wish to make but for sure you have never had a "visa" transferred to a new passport!

...Are you aware that in most european countries the thai embassy do not ask for any financial information whatsoever to obtain this visa. Your marriage just needs to be registered in your home country. A fellow I met on the plane who works for the thai embassy said this was because some people are able to hang on to the tabien somrot even after they are divorced in Thailand...
Dellie, also I have some difficulty making sense of your post. If I understand your post correctly you are saying that a staff member of a Thai embassy told you that most Thai embassies in Europe do not ask applicants for a non-O visa, both single and multiple entry, for any financial information because some people hold on to what you call the tabien somrot after they are divorced from their Thai spouses.
Sorry maybe I was unclear. What he said was that the marriage must be registered in the home country. A tabien somrot (thai name for marriage certificate) is just a paper while in Sweden for example your marriage status is stored electronically with the authorities and it's impossible to get divorced without that status changing. That has nothing to do with them having financial requirments or not. Just that they do not accept the Thai marriage certificate as proof that you are married.
Your marriage status is in Thailand is also electronically stored when you register at the amphur but I suspect thai embassies don't have access to that system nor am I certain it is registered centrally and can be accessed by all branches of the thai government. Doubt it is.
A registered Thai marriage is legal and recognised as such by the whole of the Western world.

Renewing a passport is an individuals own, personal responsibility .
Problems can and will arise if one fails to renew in good time.

A nonsense post best disregarded.
Why do you say that. I actually called to confirm this with the Thai embassy in Stockholm and they confirmed it applies atleast for all scandinavian countries and they were pretty sure other EU countries like Germany were the same. Atleast I got a 100% confirmed that they do not ask for financials in Scandinavia.
Can you tell us about these "visas" in more detail ?
Are they for one year multi entry ? or something else ?
single entry 520 sek
multiple entry 1300 sek
read the link I posted.
Sorry I missed the link.
Indeed no mention is made of financial requirement for a "Non Immigrant "O" Spouse/Family" visa.
This does not apply everywhere .

That is unlikely.
At the worst you will be given 7 days to get out of Thailand.
-
Yes and if they grant an extension it will be minus the overstay !

"Need some info about getting a one year education visa. Are these advertisers genuine regarding getting the visa, and is it a requirement to take classes in Thai, or can that be "got round" (which is the best recommended ED Visa seller please)?"
What you are suggesting is abuse and results in genuine students suffering more than a little inconvenience.
I sincerely hope you receive no assistance from TV members in furthering your ambitions.

Sorry
Your chances of securing long term out-patient narcotic "treatment" in Thailand are less than zero.
Would suggest another plan

Why would someone go to Laos to apply for non-immigrant "O" visa? Why not just apply in Thailand? I have non-immigrant "O" visa that i simply applied for in Thailand.
As a matter of interest where did you obtain this "visa" and on what basis ?

If addicted to "pain" medication or Methadone Thailand would be a very poor choice for retirement

"I was never asked to provide a police records check here in Thailand, though that was five years ago when I first arrived. I never applied to Acro for it before leaving the UK. I'm not sure if anyone else has the same experience more recently"
Only required if applying for an OA visa in ones own country.
Never needed when applying for an extension of stay in Thailand.
