Thai monk denies fatal hit-and-run despite CCTV evidence
Confuscious replied to snoop1130's topic in Central Thailand News
It's the Thai way of making "tamboon", a donation to the Bouddhist monks. When making a donation, they should not question the monk or the temple. That is up to Kharma. They made a donation with good intentions and that is what counts. -
Armed Loan Sharks Charge Teacher 300 Baht Per Hour Late Fee
Confuscious replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Rai News
Why do people loan money from a loan shark in the first place? They are fully aware of the tactics of loan sharks and should stay away from taking a loan from them. The LAW need to be changed and making loan sharks a criminal offence. -
British tourists flying to Spain face big 2025 change and must provide four pieces of 'evidence' to get in While the revised date has not yet been confirmed, it is expected to occur in 2025. Until then, tourists will still need to have their passports stamped upon arrival and departure. The Spanish government has specific entry conditions for travellers from outside the EU, including the UK. This includes being able to provide 'evidence' of meeting entry requirements when asked by border control officials. Besides a valid passport, the Foreign Office advises that visitors may be asked to show a return or onward ticket, proof of their travel insurance, a hotel booking confirmation or invitation if staying with friends or family, and evidence that you have sufficient funds for your stay, reports the Manchester Evening News.

That's the MAIN reason I decided to switch to LINUX or maybe Chromebook OS. Tired of that Windows <deleted>. Windows offered me to upgrade from Windows 7 to a FREE legal Windows 11 version a few years ago. Simply because my Notebook did meet the requirements for Windows 11. Worst decision ever.

Thai motorcyclist hits South Korean man on zebra crossing - video
Confuscious replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
I remember a few years ago when I was asking the same question and I received a lot angry responses with "Why do you want to change Thailand to a Western nanny state controlled by the police?". -
Why do you need to call other people names and throw UNFOUNDED ACCUSATIONS when you don't know anything about Windows? You (and many others) state yourself that you got the same message, but used a WORKAROUND to fool Microsoft on installing the upgrade on an unsupported system by disabling the compatibilty check on Upgrading to the new 23H2/24H2 versions. I still get the Windows 11 Security upgrades and Windows 11 other ugrades. Simply because Windows 11 has not reached yet the EOL (End Of Life) state yet. But I will not get the Windows 11 Version upgrade anymore because Windows 11 has reached the EOS (End Of Service) state. The WAAS (Windows As A Service) has decided to end the service but that is not the EOL of my operating system. I know very well that there are tons of workarounds on the Internet which are meanly disabling the compability check on Upgrade (appraiserres.dl). But that is only fooling yourself and risk loss of data as Windows is warning for this. If it would be so easy, why is Microsoft dumping their Surface Laptops which reached the EOS state at dumping prices? Microsoft requires a processor of the 8th generation for the 23H2/24H2 version of Windows 11 and trying to run Windows on an older processor will run you into troubles. As you can see in the screenshot of Mutt Daeng, he uses a processor of the 6th generation. Just like trying to mount a V8 engine in an old Trabby. I am tired to get the FALSE ACCUSATIONS of members in here who display only their IGNORANCE on this subject and resort to throw unfounded tantrums.

Here it is, pathetic guy. I was able to get security update, but not the update to the new version as this is blocked by the "WAAS or End of Service". You are a PATHETIC LOSER.
-
You are a pathetic man. The first thing that Microsoft recommends when anyone is getting an "End of Service (WAAS)" is to downlaod the PC Health Check program and run it. Pathetic to hace a discussion with you.

The main problem with immigrants, weither illegal or not, is that most of them will breed family and these family members are born in the UK and have the right to stay in the UK because of their birth. They become very difficult to expell out of the country once they have created a family. Not only in the UK, but everywhere.

Google and Microsoft are full of users with the same problem. My system was supported by Windows 11 and I was running a legal version of windows 11. But from version 22H2 up, the hardware is not supported anymore.

There are a lot of users with the same problem all over Microsoft and Google. My notebook was supported and I had a legal version of windows 11. But from version 22H2 up, the system is not supported anymore and thus can not get upgrades. Buy a new notebook or forget the upgrades.

Yesterday, my notebook warned me about some importabt updates on Windows 11. But on the update screen, an exclamation sign appeared and warned me to buy a new version of Windows 11 as my version reached the "end of updates.". I went to the Microsoft site, and the end of updates was after 2 years of installation. So, I would need to reinstall Windows 11 and all the software again OR wipe Windows completely from ho hard disk and install Linux (which was already my plan long ago). I can keep Windows on an USB drive with the programs I might occasionaly and are not available on Linux. What would your option be?

Has the real purpose of Covid + 5G been exposed?
Confuscious replied to uncletiger's topic in Covid/Vaccine
The biggest danger to humanity is not Trump, bill Gates or whoever but Elon Musk. He did already implanted his mind control chip on disabled humans and the time will come when this chip will be implanted at birth in the hospitals. No choice. Governments, like China, will use the control of this chip to control citizens and their behavior. A push in the button and you drop dead. The dream of every country. -
Holiday in the Phil's, where?
Confuscious replied to Confuscious's topic in Philippines General Chat
Are there direct flights to anywhere in the Phil's or are all the flight to Manilla with an onward ticket to the other islands? -
This is just a silly thread that comes up every few weeks. Better make a "pinned post" explaining that it is the duty of the airline to check if you comply with the tourist/immigratino rules of the destination. Some airlines companies will, some will not follow that rule. But if you take the risk of flying from the US/Europe/anywhere and being denied entry in Thailand while you can buy an onward ticket , don't start complaining.

Do you remember your first car?
Confuscious replied to Lacessit's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
My first car was a Ford Cortina. Paid a 1,000 BFr for it. I was just 15 years old and needed a car to go to work (1969). The car drove about 6 months without major repairs until one day, while driving home from work, the car lost his complete rear wheel axle. Yep, you get what you pay for, but had a lot of fun with that car. -
I plan to go on hoiday to the Phil's in the second half of the year. 1 month, but it can be extended if necessary. I have been a few times in the Phil's before, but that was in the early 2000. My plan is to have an easy vacation, near the beach. Bars and bargirls are not on my list, so no places like Angeles. I would like to meet some Philippine woman, preferable over 40 years old and single. As said already, Los Angeles is not on my list (unless the place has changed a lot in the recent years). Manilla and surroundings are too hectic for me, so I would give them a miss. Any ideas?
