  1. Don't bother to explain this to braindead members. They will never understand this.

  4. Did you push the English guy into the gutter? You seem to be attacking many members here, so you could as well have pushed the English guy.

  6. I know somebody who fits this line completely: "Stay out of the BRITS THREADS and I will stay out of your threads." Signed Marky
  7. Was he trying to swim to his hotel? A shortcut?
  8. Was he trying to do a shortcut to the hotel trough the drainage pipes?
  9. Looks like he was taking a selfie in the drainage ditch
  10. Tax problems? Marriage problems? Problems with staying in Thailand? Many choices here ....
  11. Was his relation so bad that he had to climb ofer the railings and jump in to the drainage ditch? Simply divorce if it's so bad.
  12. Very nice to DELETE MY ANSWERS TO FALSE ACCUSATIONS and leave the FALSE ACCUSATIONS unharmed.
  13. Thai Buddhist monks stealing jobs from the Catholic church? This should not be tolerated.
  14. Maybe that's what the EU leaders want? A FULL nuclear war to start all over again in 25 years?
  15. Learning Thai https://thailife25.blogspot.com/2024/11/blog-post.html
  16. If my health allows it, I will travel every 6 months to a place I never been before and is on my list. Vietnam (Hanoi), Japan (Nagasaki), Korea, etc. At this moment, pensions from Belgium are not "Frozen" like the pensions from the UK.
  17. I am not claiming that everybody should follow me on my exodus. Each one has to make for himself that decision. For me, my declining health and the perspective that of a huge part of my pension would have to be spend on health care was the turning point of my decision. The fact that my bank in Belgium decided to disclose my financial information to the Thai authorities without my approval was the last straw. I left my long term Visa for Thailand, but that doesn't mean that I will stay here until the end of times. As long as my health allows it, I can make a trip to Thailand, the Philippines or any country every 179 days and without losing my EU health care. Besides that, by having back my residence in Europe, I will benefit the Repatriating to Europe in case something would happen to me. Also, I don't need to have 800K Baht stached in a Thai bank account. Best of both worlds.
  18. Wy should I go trough all these hoops whilst I could enjoy my money on a cruise or a trip to the parts of the world I always wanted to see but never could? For my "childen"?
  19. Opinions differ, and your opinion is as good as anyone else. My experience with asking questions on this (and many other) forums is that I would get 80% of the answers giving TOTAL BULL... or not the the point. These answers would mostly be posted by people who spend their miserable lives sittin on a barstool with a phone logged in into ASEANNOW in one hand and a pint on other hand. That's all they can do living in the "beautiful" Thailand. I have also learned by experience that when I want to have useful information, I take my phone and send an email or a message to the relevant websites (DLT Korat) and get accurate information.
  20. A "drunk" BRIT??? Impossible ...
  21. That's the best advice in this topic. I have all my "Music" stored on an SD-Card and simply plug the card into a card reader to transfer songs when I want. I transferred all the songs to my new phone 2 years ago by inserting the SD-Card into a Card reader and plugging the card reader to my phone using "Total Commander".
  22. “I didn’t know the person I attacked. I was drunk, and now that I’m sober, I deeply regret my actions. I promise I won’t behave like this again.” Amphol extended apologies to both the victim and the online community for his misconduct. Case dismissed. Next case ....
  23. Or, still better, GET INFORMATION FIRST AT YOUR LOCAL DLT OFFICE (NOT ASEANNOW).
  24. WRONG!!!!! I will live in Spain, as a SPANISH NATIONAL, but my health insurance is in Belgium (accessible in Spain through the S1-Card). Try again ......
  25. First: I don't give a RATS A.. about the laws in the UK or what your opinion is on this matter. I am a Belgian ciizen and the Belgian/EU laws apply to me, not the UK laws. Second, if you want to know why Thailand requested this information, go ask the Thai government. Third, this has been discussed in the TAX thread, with proofs, and do not need to be discussed again in the thread.
