  1. There is roadworks near walking street at the Second road and Pattaya Tai intersection with the middle lane unusable, that may have backed up Beach road a bit.
  2. Maybe putting some distance between herself and her friend P Diddy.
  3. Let it expire there's a good chance they email you a special offer to get your business back. I don't know about this company specifically but Ive had that with Nord and other subscriptions.
  4. Russia to grow faster than all advanced economies says IMF https://www.bbc.com/news/business-68823399 Russia is the fastest growing economy in the world. it also bigger than the UK, France and Germany. https://www.intellinews.com/russia-overtakes-germany-to-become-fifth-biggest-economy-in-the-world-in-gdp-on-a-ppp-basis-286944/
  5. Rogan Trump interview has almost 50 million views on YouTube and 23 million on X. CNN 5 million on election night. The left wing MSM have pushed their viewer base off their platforms thanks to their political Zealotry, outright distortions and lies. Most people can find a new home on the many social media platforms / podcasts for news and current affairs, left wing MSM have killed their businesses.
  6. MINISFORUM UM790 Pro AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS Mini PC WiFi6E BT5.3 Window 11 Pro DDR5 16GB 512GB Desktop Gaming MINI PC. 17,400 baht. I got one a few months back but with 64GB 1TB storage. these are heavily discounted on Aliexpress at the moment. At the time i researched mini pcs it was in the top tier of mini pc's. I did find the extra RAM made a difference but depends if you need it as it bumps up the cost.
  7. I'm using my Revolut card to send money to a Wise account, the vendor sent me a message about 7 hours ago telling me she just spoke to wise..... "the Wise credit card systems are down for 2 working days" so assume back online Monday US time. Revolut I've had about 2 months, for me it's working well, transfers from my linked bank account to top up the card take 5 to 10 seconds. I upgraded to a metal card so I can use ATMs with currency exchange fees being free first usd $1,000 then 1% after that each month. ATM fees by the Thai bank about 250 baht. Exchange rates have been good. I use Nord VPN and Nord password manager, with Revolut you get these for free. That and the USD fee free transfers fund the upgrade to the metal card which gives you the higher fee free transfer amount. Also I went for Revolut as I use my brothers Australian address for the card, Wise ask for proof of address which I cant do for Australia as I'm living in Thailand. You also get free Tinder premium, airport lounge access stuff like that but I haven't tried any of that extra stuff.
  8. I have 3BB and NT in Pattaya, in terms of speed and reliability over the last 12 months they are about the same. NT is cheaper and I like their office staff for generally being happy and helpful, also their office on Pattaya Tai is not busy most of the time, lots of parking. 3BB phone / support are good.
  9. 90 Day report, I'd been to Singapore in June and understood online wouldn't work. I'm on a Retirement visa OA I think.
  10. Last week I told the girl at Jomtien I'd done it online, she said "show me" which I couldn't, but feel should would have been OK with a photo. I'd print it all the same, but I now keep a photo and obviously the TM30 slip in my passport.
  11. Russians living abroad in Europe, 6.2 million people in 2020. The Europeans are morons, what have they done about the 6 odd million already there, absolutely nothing. Straight propaganda.
  12. Saw it yesterday on Pratumnak, no passangers.
  13. I had something similar, total rebuild and the kitchen lights had a flicker. My builder and the electrician decided to put the led strip light onto it's own switch (basically on/off) which is not dim-able unlike the ceiling lights. I also changed from a white light to a warm light at the same time. No more flicker.
  14. Not sure which bank your with, but on the SCB app you can block online transactions and just unblock them when you want to make an online purchase.
  15. You could try going to Hafale and asking the manager Charlie for a recommendation, he deals with some farang builders.
  16. Hi, I know you didn't ask but I just tried the linked cream yesterday for the first time and already I'm seeing positive changes, I've had skin issues for years, I'm impressed, you may be interested in trying it. Lots of positive reviews on the makers Australian site for both eczema and psoriasis. https://sunshinemarket.co.th/product/eczema-psoriasis-cream-with-marshmallow-elderberry-more/ Thai place I got it from. 565 baht. https://moogoo.com.au/products/eczema-and-psoriasis-cream
  17. I have no idea what that photo is of, but the article is about an Airbus A220 flight, which is a single aisle aircraft.
  18. Didn't notice, so plus 1 for Pimmy.
  19. The Chinese Takeaway - By Pimmy is good, you have to order on Facebook and they deliver. Has 5 stars on facebook. They market the food as UK style Chinese takeaway, lots of pictures on FB. You need to plan ahead as it won't be at your door in 30 minutes. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063615640112
  20. As the saying use to go "if it only saves you once a year it a Goodyear." I agree the Dunlops are crap, I don't recall exactly why but I also got rid of IRC's. I've had the Pirelli Diablo's and really liked them, I currently have the Michelin City Grip 2's and also really like them. If I had to choose one, I think the Michelin's. The contoured surface makes leaning into turns feel more natural and the grip is outstanding wet or dry.
  21. I used Asian Tigers in a move from Singapore to Pattaya, they were very good. I had office furniture, lounge suite, large TV etc..... I don't know about cost as my employer paid, but I do recall tax on the Thai end was minimal. They were a professional team, that was in 2014.
  22. Taxi

    Coffee Machine

If you just want to push a button and have the machine do the rest, then I can recommend this Philips machine. I'm no coffee purist but people often compliment the coffee this machine makes. Philips LatteGO Full Automatic Espresso Machine Philips LatteGO Full Automatic Espresso Machine EP5447/90
  23. I don't know specifically about Brie but Dom's Pizza on Pratumnak Soi 5 has a deli section. I was getting some Blue cheese they sold from Chang Mai (I think) made from organic goats milk. They were ordering fresh weekly but they had a decent range of quality cheese. Worth a look if your passing.
  24. At SCB I can send baht 50,000 at a time on my windows pc, using the android phone app I can send 1 or 2 million depending on what limit I set in the app. Ive recently sent 1 million twice with no issue to another Thai bank account.
  25. I use to have a Philips like the one pictured on the first page, it's probably at the small end in terms of size. A few months ago I got a bigger Philips Air fryer model HD9270/91 (6.2l). It's on Lazada from about 3,400 baht. In my opinion it's much much better than my old smaller one which was maybe 5 years old. It just cooks stuff better, probably due the better airflow with the bigger basket. It's got a bunch of presets but basically just use the temp and timer. I subscribe to a consumer magazine in Australia that test all sorts of everyday home appliances and this was rated very highly, not the best one but maybe 3rd best and for me was the best value for money.
