  1. hate radio-freedm of speech, it's hard to control the internet or radio,

The only intimidation was sutheps thugs preventing epople from voting, the REDS are not intimidating ANYONE that is willing to respect the election, why would they? they know they will win the election, they don't NEED to intimidate anyone.

There is no vote-buying, or vote fraud is not happening at a significant level, if it does the EC and international orgs monitoring the election will take notice and the election will be void, certainly not enough vote fraud to effect the PT landslide election victories, with them getting more than 300 seats in the last election vs. the dems 108, the rest going to smaller parties.

no lies and unrealistic promises-are you kidding, ITS AN ELECTION for fks sake.

If NOW is not a good time for elections then when is, if not now, then the caretaker PT govt continues on until IT IS possible to have an election, so again its pointless to wait.

Disband all protest movements, restore law and order and have elections three months afterwards- everybody has said their piece now it's time to get back to reality. Interim govt making reforms on behalf of who? It is just not valid.

restore law and order and have elections three months afterwards

    o.k.

    law and order means

    reinforcement of FREE elections

    no hate radio

    no intimidation

    no vote buying

    no lies

    no unrealistic promises

every party can have events everywhere - if they are blocked the party which has advantage will be excluded from election in that area

if this can be attained within 3 months - why not?

the REDS are not intimidating ANYONE that is willing to respect the election, why would they? they know they will win the election, they don't NEED to intimidate anyone.

you serious? I don't need to go into other details of your post cheesy.gif.pagespeed.ce.HaOxm9--Zv.gifcheesy.gif.pagespeed.ce.HaOxm9--Zv.gifcheesy.gif.pagespeed.ce.HaOxm9--Zv.gif t

  2. Yellows don't get paid, no way Jose.... but wait, they were paying 800b a day in my locale a few months ago, picking people up in pick-ups and heading for Suthep's Walks for Fascism Reform, and offering it to all and sundry.

    whistling.gif

Could we see some real proof of that ?

Strange no stories of that in the news but the reds all the time with stuff like this.

So either it does not happen with the yellows or it happened many many more times with the reds why it gets discovered more.

Either way reds are nothing more then rent a mob while the yellows pay for pleasure to protest really stand behind their choice and ideology.

Rubbish! Both sides are paying for their renta-mobs and the daily rate seems to be around Bt.1,000 per day plus transport (Bus). A group of about 20 women from my wife's village were paid to attend Sutheps gatherings a few weeks ago. Got to BKK, received their attendance money, and were then refused the money for the fare home again. So for all those claiming this is a red-only activity.....sorry, you're wrong! They're as bad as each other.

    proof please

no proof - no truth, just rhetoric

  3. The Pheu Thai administration is indeed wounded and this AFP article is right to put quotation marks around the word " rally " when describing whatever the red shirts are doing. The UDD has been struggling to try to gather as many of their members as possible for weeks now. They may indeed miss the train, because events have now taken much more speed. Pheu Thai is losing the airwaves. CAPO no longer is able to transmit on Channels 3, 5, 7, and Thai PBS. They still transmit on Channel 9. They were able to get on Channel 11's signal momentarily through a circuitous route but that was apparently short-lived. CAPO's increasing surreal announcements are therefore reaching a diminishing audience. The Pheu Thai administration ceases to function in any conceivable and practical sense. They selected a man through the cabinet, but that holds no constitutional weight as a prime minister can only be nominated through a quorum-filled parliament or through the Senate in the event of a quorum-less parliament. Pheu Thai has half a cabinet, no legislative power, no parliament, and no public mandate. They even can't have an election. For three reasons - 1) the unrest on the ground is as disruptive if not more than before the last election. Everyone outside of Pheu Thai acknowledges that. - 2) Pheu Thai wanted the EC to include a provision in the decree that would allow the EC to postpone the election again if there were difficulties with the poll. That is something that could be successfully challenged constitutionally. There is no precedent for that. You simply can't have a decree that includes a clause that allows the discretion for a movable election date. - 3) As the man Pheu Thai has chosen is not through constitutional means, he would therefore not have the authority to set an election date. The Pheu Thai administration is - in effective - frozen.

But they will still win the next electionwai.gif .

    What does that mean?

Is their policy better or do they have a strong grip on their brainwashed voters?

  4. So Jatuporn is now officially threatening the security of the state by promising a civil war. Isn't it time for the army to step in and protect the state, as they are sworn to do?

Yes they should have removed the treasonous Suthep & his hired violent mob long ago.

Can you please substantiate and compare with the red shirts (I avoid words like mob or thugs)

  5. So Jatuporn is now officially threatening the security of the state by promising a civil war. Isn't it time for the army to step in and protect the state, as they are sworn to do?

    Yup.

Stepping in and aiding in the arrest of Suthep, while cleaning their thugs off the street would be most welcome by everyone. smile.png

Elections take place and let the people democratically vote in their leaders.

Stepping in and aiding in the arrest of Suthep, while cleaning their thugs off the street would be most welcome by everyone.

    I heavily doubt this

  6. What is the evidence of what she did wrong? It seems that many TV members and loud anti gov Thais keep asserting she has stolen from the country to make her family rich and Thailand is poor because of the Shin clan. What has been proven so far or strong evidence presented in favor to makes people so adamant against her position.?

read the verdict of the CC

  7. Krisana Jeungjareon, detained for 42 days at the Thanyaburi district detention facility instead of being fined Bt200 per day,

So I understand he was detained because he could not pay the fine (8400 Baht) probably for a minor delict

and then in prison was brought together with heavy violent criminals. No observation.

In my eyes the prison is responsible for his death.

  8. The arrogant elite are so out of touch with reality if they think they can once again hijack the democratic process and not suffer any repercussions.

The red shirts will not surrender this time. It's not like 2010. Now they know they will never have their political rights recognised unless they fight to the death.

well, let them fight to the death - an effective cure against stupidity and violence

  9. If this court were impartial and consistent, it would have removed just about every Thai prime minister since the year dot for similar reasons. This is judicial theatre, not democracy.

Did anyone sue those prime ministers?

What was the reason for the court to find them not guilty?

  10. The lunatic SUTHEP failed to accomplish anything so the courts held a judicial coupe AGAIN. If u can't win an election let the courts give a guilty verdict on trumped up charges. Let's see what happens now.

So you think Yingluck did not abuse her power then? Charges seems pretty solid, as was the ruling. If you disagree then you might want to take off those Thaksin colored sunglasses for a moment...

I think everyone is abusing power ... including the CC .... so when is Suthep going to answer for all his crimes? Probably never ... and therein lies the proof of abuse of power .... pots and kettles everywhere in here

Suthep going to answer for all his crimes?

Can you please list these "crimes"?

  11. This will only make the country even less governable, less confident and less interesting for foreign investors - there is only one way forward and that is through democratic elections and now!

if they were democratic and the people had correct informations - yes

Germany needed 4 years after the breakdown of Hitler's Reich to denazify

    I guess you are dreaming

What was Samak kicked out for? Receiving 5,000 Baht for appearing on a cookery programme in a previous piece of blatantly political interference from the courts.

Tarit was effectively a civil servant who was openly critical of the government. He had to go.

Stick to football . . . your ideas of Politics are inane . . . Samak was kicked out for BREAKING THE LAW, simple as that.

The law is applied partially. Why no investigation of Suthep's shady land deals when he was deputy PM? Why- because he's on the 'right' side (in every sense of the word.

You might want to consider who else was involved to understand why there was no investigation . . . it wasn't just Suthep involved . . . but yes, if the law is not applied impartially, then there is reason to make changes to the law, the constitution and those that enforce those laws. But let's do it in such a way that the public is involved in the entire process and has a say about what and how those laws should be changed.

Crazy idea, but perhaps we could have some reforms first before elections, so that we don't end up back in the same situation as we've had the last 10 years with elections, protests, people removed, new elections etc . . . perhaps we could also have some laws that say if a Politician is found guilty of anything illegal, they are banned for life, with no Parliamentary immunity . . . and then enforce those laws correctly. That would see Suthep out of Politics . . . along with many, many other corrupt individuals and families.

That would see Suthep out of Politics . . . along with many, many other corrupt individuals and families.

... including the complete PTP and "UDD"
