Only three weeks ago, I recieved a letter prom the UK Pensions office informing me that "to prevent fraud" from April next year UK Pensions cannot be paid into an account outside UK, EU and commonwealth Countries. This will apply to new applicants only and existing foreign payments are not affected.

I recently ran a cleaner through my PC. It wiped all my remembered passwords and at forst I could not sign to TV. I have obtained a new password which has allowed me entry but I cannot change the password to a more memorable one. Every time I try it displays "current password incorrect" in spite of me copying and pasting the password supplied. Please suggest a remedy.

I think that many of those "Security Agencies" are acting in their own interests outwith the control of any Government authority.

Why do the stars always agree with your prejudices

This is a standard practice. I saw BEA (remember them) do it to Viscount which ran off the runway at Glasgow in 1968

Does the Royal Thai Army have the authority to license a particular tank and/or prohibit others. It seems like another power grab.

It's the teachers!!!
Gawd you would think it was rocket science
The teachers don't get paid SH**. The school supplies are not worth SH**. The classrooms are not worth SH**. Sports days don't cost SH**. The teachers give the kids milk and shampoo for lice and free haircuts. Everybody has holes in their socks and smells bad because there is no AC.
Go teach for a while. The teachers are not that bad. The cash comes out before it gets to the school budget. Thai teachers are OK; it's the dummies above the teaching level.
Although there is a positive. The kids are not crazy and all on prescription drugs like in the West. I don't think many Thai kids bring guns to school and shoot people.
Class size is too big. At least they don't have the single one biggest impediment to education in the West, "Teachers Unions."
In addition there is the extortion. mmmmmmmmmmy neice has to pay 20% of her salary to the headmistress for "Projects" which never are completed.

The word "loan" seems to have a different meaning in Thailand. I have only ever seen it used as a euphemism for gift.

This id not confined to Thailand. All governments are elected with hope and soon turn to their own selfish ends. PT is typical every party in power all over the world. I am a cynic.

I hear Japan now has easy visa's for Thai citizens. What a beautiful country also!
Nepal, India, China, S. Korea, New Zealand....other options. Though I've heard China is getting harder to deal with re:visas????
Japan has Snow Monkeys.

I use HiFX via the Post Office on line. It gives a lower rate than a Thai bank but the fees charged by my bank for a Telegraphic Transfer mean that it is cheaper up to £3200. Also,. it it consistent in getting to the correct account in 4 days max. Ther is little chance of a Bank employee diverting it to pay his gambling debts.

I am a cynic. When I was a student, I was so impoverished that, if I had been paid, I would have joined the Orange Parade. How much will the Peoples Army be paying?

I am surprised they are so liberal, In Bahrain, a long sleeved shirt and tie with jacket ( as a concession the trousers and jacket did not need to match) were needed.

Its a long time ago, but my daughter travelled alone from the age of 8. All respectable airlines have at least 1 cabin crew member on each flight trained in escorting minors. She enjoyed the assumption that she was capable of looking after herself. Your son will probably be able to boast to his pals that he can travel alone. '
