I suggest you buy one even though it's too short, and have the adjustable bits made longer, lot's of local places can do quickly and cheaply, if properly supervised. PM me if you need help.

Accident Thailand's Grim Motorcycle Death Toll Sparks Helmet Campaign
Grusa replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I have always wondered at the lengths people go to avoid wearing a helmet..... when they actually have one, be it ever so crappy, on board! Carry in the hand Carry in the same hand as the cigarette, and/or phone, Hang it off the handlebar, or a hook, or almost anywhere, Stuff it under the seat, if it's possible Give it to the passenger/s to carry (along with their own if any) Stuff your through and wear it like an armband The easiest and most comfortable way to carry the damn thing is, guess what? On your head. (Correctly, with the strap fastened, not with your eyes below the chin guard, if it's a full-face model!). Then there's the camouflage. Make it look like something else. Bunny Rabbit ears Alien antennae (aka cable ties or tie wraps) US army helmet Nazi helmet Skinhead/Hells Angel skull cap Jockeys hard hat Contractors hard hat Some of these are not safe, and any may invalidate any financial claims arising from an incident. Why not wear the thing openly, and advertise the fact that as a rational being, you accept that hitting things with an unprotected head carries the risk of serious and lasting damage to your life! -
Suggest a Thai bank other than BB Ltd

Likewise, apart from appalling service at branches....but that's the same in all banks in Thailand, so far as I can tell. Wise works well with SCB. -
Can those public Reverse Osmosis Water Filters be trusted?
Grusa replied to save the frogs's topic in General Topics
I have two RO systems, different makes. All that look like the one in this link - https://s.lazada.co.th/s.xuJng are reliable and filters etc. cross compatible, there really isn't much to go wrong, and they are cheap to run, using about 7-10X more raw water than they produce. For me, 100 litres of filtered water cost about 6baht to produce. Spare parts are off-the-shelf items in Hompro, etc, but they charge at least twice the price of Lazada, if you don't count shipping cost. -

And, you can use it as a sick bag, to cover your feet (well, one anyway) when its wet underfoot, to pick up dog poo, and to stop oil getting everywhere when you change an oil filter. An essential for Songkran.... your phone, your wallet, your hair can all be protected from a soaking by these insanely cheap items. Or, fill it with water and throw it! All you need is a creative imagination. Oh sorry, I have wandered off topic! Whilst driving, until a few days ago in Pattaya I noted while stopped at red lights, perhaps 10% helmet wearing. Suddenly it has shot up to over 60%. So, some are paying attention! -
