You obviously have no knowledge of the Indian punters who frequent Indian clubs. Some of them are loaded big time. Plus everyone has to buy a drink and can't just share a bottle between themselves. The service staff are aggressive from when you walk in to bring you to a table and get an order out of you and tips. Plus Indians exchange real cash for those fake cash in the clubs and throw it around on stage around the dancing girls. Apparently it's to show off that they have money or something like that in their culture.

Considering that hip-hop is played in nearly every club, Agogos, those street cocktail cars, other girlie bars, I guess the clubs you'd be going to are the Indian clubs, am I correct? But then again, even some of the Indian clubs will play some hip-hop too. So exactly which nightclubs are you going to? I don't think there's really anywhere that doesn't play hip-hop.

Sometimes at Indian clubs, if you are not Indian, the bouncers will ask you "Where are you from". I tell them where I'm from then they say "ok". Next time I should just tell them "I'm from India" just to mess with them. Pisses me off every time I get that question from Indian club bounces.
-
Yeah, the Indians love to go to their own club for familiarity of music and their own kind, plus a number of clubs are racist against Indians and don't let them in or ones that do, charge them a 100 or 200 baht fee each to get in. I remember in the old days Red Car club, the only non-smoking club, always charged Indians 100 or 200 baht by the bouncers at the front door. This is similar to a number of Agogos that will do that too. As mentioned in my OP, I also faced my 1st time racism trying to get into Panda club. Bouncer told me "Korean and Chinese only". Never had a problem entering it in the old days, even though it's always been a Chinese club.

Yes, I've seen the prices at Indian clubs before. They're a total ripoff and charge the highest prices out of all the clubs. I guess they gouge the Indian punters and they have to pay for those dancing Uzbeck girls on stage. Gets me thinking, do those foreign dancing girls have a work permit to legally work here?
-
Well, kind of. In places like Ibar / Insomnia / Myst (and maybe other venues) they have these free member cards for the girls that gives them points and when they get a certain amount of points, they get free drinks. So they like to get dudes to buy drinks then they give their member cards for points for future free drinks. That's why those clubs are packed, or they were back in the old days. Free drinks for girls, apparently a number of Indian clubs give girls a few free beers if they come before 10pm or maybe a bottle if they come in a group of 3 or 5. Something like that anyway.

METV effectively rescinded at Don Mueang
bbi1 replied to Orient Express's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Great news. Did you go to a booth staffed by a male or female IO? -
Now you'd be lucky to see more than 30 people in Lucifer, it's deadly dead.
-
I'm talking about the discos / nightclubs on Walking Street, not a live music place or the street. The street is always crowded with lots of people walking around but most not going to the nightclubs. 808 used to be packed every night, especially on Fridays & Saturdays. Flexx used to be full of people around 4am or 5am in the morning. Insomnia has a lot more people than it has now. Lucifer used to be half full but now it's just empty and sad. Other Indian clubs like Tonys had a lot more people than these days.
-
No they're not. Walking St McDonalds is completely empty except a few punters who eat there.

I wouldn't say things are quieter at all. Still a sh&tload of people everywhere in Pattaya and also on Walking Street and at the beach. In fact, there are a sh&tload more people here than end of 2022. I'd say double the amount of people. Back in end of 2022 hotel prices were way cheaper too, and now they are 50% or more expensive at the same hotel. Didn't matter in the past few years prior to Covid or end of 2022 prior to "high season" starting, but 2022 there weren't many people even coming here as they were still scared of Covid. It was so much busier than it is now. I'm thinking all the girls are going to the Indian clubs to target those punters and also the extended 4am closing times of bars and Agogos. Girls used to head to clubs at 2am once their bars and Agogos closed.

Haven't been to any Walking Street discos / nightclubs in over a year and boy has things changed. Anyone know why are all the usual places completely dead and with no girls around? Is it due to all the bars and other entertainment venues now being open to 4am or is it that all the girls are now going to one of the seven Indian clubs instead? Places like 808, Flexx, Lucifer are completely dead compared to end of 2022, when the cops were closing everything early at 1am or 2am. Those places used to pump hard. Well, not Lucifier but 808 and Flexx. Places like Insomnia is a lot more empty as well. Seems like everyone goes to Myst these days, and a decent amount of folks go to Republic. The Indian clubs are full, with Janaaat absolutely chocablock full of Indian dudes and chicks too. Same with the Indian club opposite (forgot it's name) and the new Indian club Leela further down Walking Street. Had my 1st ever experience of racism when trying to enter Panda club lol. Guard said Korean & Chinese only. Never had a problem entering Panda way back. Even other asian dudes can't get in it seems, only Korean & Chinese. I've got no problems getting into any of the Indian clubs though, as a non-Indian. I know that the majority of forum users are well on in their years and probably all on retirement visas and I'm going to get the usual stupid comments like they're usually in bed sleeping by 8pm or everything should close by midnight, but I'm hoping there are some "younger" members on here that are on this forum.

The problem seems that you are mentioning the company name yet again, which is not allowed. As I commented previously, seems the mods only allow you to mention the soi it is in, as per the PM warning I got for mentioning a company name in another thread, we are only allowed to "Share information but NO NAMES"

Visa renewal on re entry from Vietnam
bbi1 replied to Marty0707's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
How would he be able to "obtain a 60 day extension to visit wife"? In the OP he mentioned he "has a Thai UK son here". This doesn't mean that he's married, only that he has a kid of his own. -
Appeals Court confirms 2 years jail sentence to Danish resort manager
bbi1 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
They should also cancel this dude's retirement visa and deport & ban him once he completes his time in jail. -
Well, my post asking questions mentioned a certain visa run company and it got censored (meaning deleted) by the Mods together with a warning email to "Share information but NO NAMES"

They like to advertise to the world they are tramps with their bodies covered in tramp stamps and the smoking.

Chuck out any foreigners with tattoos, both young and old. That will probably get rid of 30% of the folks in Pattaya.

Tourists, Residents Panic As Fire Breaks Out At Pattaya High-Rise Condo
bbi1 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
There was totally no panic by that Indian dude on his balcony casually looking down at all the people and firetrucks down below on the street. That being said, nobody takes fire alarms in condos seriously. The fire alarm in my condo goes of many times a year. People stay in their rooms when they hear the alarm. -
Tourists, Residents Panic As Fire Breaks Out At Pattaya High-Rise Condo
bbi1 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Not all fled in panic. There was this one Indian dude standing on his balcony at one of the front rooms looking down at all the people on the street, multiple firetrucks in front of The Edge condo, ambulance and police vehicles and he didn't give a toss that the building was on fire. -
That too is very repulsive and super offensive when they walk around shirtless. Unfortunately, there are a ton of them in Pattaya. Seems like Pattaya is a magnet for obese fatties.
-
Thai Gov wanted to do a crackdown on foreigners to protect tourism. They should start with looking for any foreigner who has tattoos, that's the 1st giveaway. But the biggest crime of all is any old fart with tattoos as it just looks gross on their saggy old skin. That should be an instant visa/extension cancellation and deportation. Lots of old farts with tattoos walking around shirtless in Pattaya. Makes you wanna puke when your eyes come across those shirtless types.

Another post from a few months ago mentioning & promoting a company. You ARE NOT allowed to mention any names of any companies on this forum. You are only allowed to mention the street name. Mods will delete your post and give you a stern warning via PM, just like they did for me a week ago. You can only "Share information but NO NAMES"

Good news for those worried, Jomtien Immigration aka Jomtien Beach Rd Soi 5 is one way optionally. Lots of cars and motorbikes going both ways there 😁
