  1. The wave started around 1st April and now in month number 5 "Bangkok races to test residents". Too little too late you useless prats. Its been well know that Banhkokians coildn't get tests because either there weren't enough test spots or hospitals were full. The disease is rampant and this administration have failed completely to act either to measure the disease spread or to provide an effective vaccine roll out. This mess will continue on well into next year at the rate things are progressing, except of course for the poor people who have already died because of the incompetence shown or who have financially gone to the wall.
  2. Absolutely disgraceful that she can't return home. The stranded Australians should be putting together a class action to sue those mongrels in government. If they deliberately hold Australians out of the country in order to "safeguard the masses" then they should have at least offered financial support for said stranded Aussies in order to show them some form of compassion and care. Some of those families are under immense financial duress. It would be easier to get home via Kabul at the moment.
  3. She was probably waiting for the government to supply her orange biohazard bags, so that she didn't dispose of her waste inappropriately.
  4. Whats the definition of insanity....keep repeating the same thing and expecting a different outcome?
  5. Anything goes to kill enough time to ensure that the statute of limitations against chicken s""t Boss is exceeded. This is just another chapter being enacted according to the script.
  6. Sounds like something an ex advisor would say after perpetuating the myth on behalf of the health department and then getting the a#rse by Anutin. Quite a true statement though, that the rate is much higher than that being released to the public. The 3 x mass tests in Bangkok that all resulted in more than 10% infection rates validate his comments, at least for the covid capital of thailand.
  7. Go for it, but do your research and buy well. Good luck with it.
  8. No, no appointment. But....the UK Embassy have assured British Citizens that they are in constant talks with the relevant authorities and the vaccine issues, including appoinyments for expats are under control and progressing. I feel so much better knowing that.
  9. I've got a personal feeling that the west is setting up to poke China right in the eye, but that is just me thinking that. I can't see any value for Thailand in having any negative feelings towards China and I would rather see them in a harmonious relationship but China does use trade relations to "hurt" any partners that have a contrary voice and Thailand exports a lot of agricultural produce to China, so I hope they maintain that trade relationship.
  10. Australia has always maintained this strong ideology about being an isolated island where pestilense should be held out, way before c19 was a thing. My personal belief is that Australia has acted hysterically and having 39 or so thousand Australians still locked out of the country after 16 or 18 months should be seen as a national disgrace. But if they put it to the vote I think that many Australians would support the governments decisions to maintain the island as being covid free if possible at any cost, even though I personally feel its madness. My takeout from this is that we all have personal and differing limitations to what we think is acceptable and how we think the virus control should be managed. I would rather open up the country (Thailand) for economy and trading and I would be willing to manage my personal space, time outdoors in risk environments myself and hopefully manage it with masks and cleanliness to remain virus free and let others manage their health. And of course I will personally vaccinate whenever I get the chance or opportunity.
  11. Lets hope the Chinese and Thai's maintain a cordial relationship. It affects every nationality here in terms of regional stability.
  12. Absolute police muppets, allowing a body to be released and cremated after an unexpected or suspicious death and therefore allowing vital evidence to be destroyed. Another case of the police wrapping up the crime before they even investigate it. I'm sure that any ex police on this forum would be appalled at the dismal state of detective work here.
  13. Hahaha, 250 000 baht filters into her account and she doesn't notice anything. Good onya mum.
  14. Finally a good news story, 122 scooters that have been seized and therefore won't be ripping up and down the road past my condo and annoying the <deleted> out of me. Now seize the rest of the scooters.
  15. Yeah, thats the third mass testing that I have read about and the previous two mass test results were 10% and 13% of the bulk test subjects testing positive respectively.
  16. To ask Anutin for disclosure about who gets what Pfizer is wrong. How can anyone assume that Anutin knows what is actually happening, when it is clear that Anutin has no idea and therefore pumps out fake news to cover his personal shortfalls. Dr Serirak could have presented the letter of demand to a pumpkin and recieved more chance of an honest and knowledgable response.
  17. Look up the relevant quarantine requirements that are current for the date and the province that you want to visit, which are then dependent on the province that you are travelling from. Requirements and rules change constantly, so any answer can be out of date very quickly.
  18. An influencer reporting from the safety of her hotel no doubt. Just don't go to Ko Tao.
  19. Transferred to an inactive post. Did he get a transfer to the Health Ministry with Anutin.
