  1. Yes and they do. In the past year, I've had Thais testify on my behalf when a Thai had lodged a police complaint against me. A close friend who got hit by a car is currently negotiating compensation with the Thai driver and is being fully assisted by the police. You need to get out of the miserable farang bar more often.
  2. All three are hubs of nightlife. Joking aside, not the places to go for that purpose. All three, though, have freelancers. Search for them on Twitter using the name of the city in Thai. For instance #รับงาน followed by the name of the town you're interested in. They mostly don't speak English.
  3. Needed an NBTC license as it wasn't a phone make/model that had been officially authorized for use in Thailand.
  4. I had trouble with a cell phone coming from HK. I asked the vendor to have it recalled. DHL.
  5. Expert Watch in the Central World basement would be where I'd start. Might be as simple as needing demagnetization although 20 seconds a day is low for a magnetized watch. Putting them on a timegrapher and checking amplitude will tell. If you do have them regulated, consider having them serviced as well.
  6. Jenny works out of the Hua Hin office.
  7. Passive means you're not running a business.
  8. Plenty of rental FL's around if you speak the language. They advertise on Twitter.
  9. Given his name, Nakhon Phanom. Obviously everyone is supposed to know! 555
  10. Don't use BTC. Much quicker to use one of the alts. I use BNB and it is done in minutes, both exchanges and transfer to my local bank account. That said, several hours seems to me much much slower than my experience with BTC.
  11. Yes, that's what I've heard from others, as well. In fact, even a couple of years ago, I actually got so fed up that I just went to their office with all the documents I could possibly think of, including my Thai tax ID.
  12. Bitkub works for me. Not the easiest to open an account though these days so people say.
  13. I don't believe sandalwood is normally used for woodworking. It is a source of fragrant oil. Wild( illegal) sandalwood can go for several tens of thousands a kilo and up depending on the age of the tree. Young trees are not a good source of oil.
