  1. earlier this year there was a guy in his 80s had been queuing outside in the heat for hours, got in wearing a singlet, pathetic thai worker on a power trip shouted at him to leave, man was distraught, broken man, who knows maybe died later in the heat
  2. i bought a cast iron pan and i didn't like it, sticked like a bastard and rusted like a bastard, i binned it
  3. Presumably you're self insuring also? you know insurer with little track record of paying claims, best to be on the safe side
  4. Yes i have a Tefal induction pan, just not the one in the link
  5. you've just not been there on a bad day. Not sure why everyone has to dress up in hot clothes to see them
  6. New staff presumably? Post about the new building a couple weeks ago
  7. If it makes you happy maybe it's the solution?
  8. He's like my condo security, always asleep 3am-6am, probably have a day job too
  9. That's where the 800k in the bank non Imm O might come in useful for a medical emergency, will get them to treat you. Waiting to sell shares etc is too long
  10. Not for Induction though
  11. Those people with excluded pre-existing conditions will need to keep big funds for self insurance anyway, I wonder how many people do?
  12. I would changes headphones to a lighter model or use earphones. Also get ears vacuumed by an ENT specialist, in Pattaya around 700 baht. If there's wax on the ear drum it causes weird sensations
  13. ENT specialist said to me don't put water in your ears as it isn't clean, so cleaning whilst having a shower isn't a good idea
  14. This article is more recent and better, using London as an example. Basically motorcycles are better. I can't imagine smokey pickups are somehow better https://www.mag-uk.org/motorcycle-nox-emissions-are-old-motorcycles-really-highly-polluting/ "the standard set by TfL for NOx emissions for motorcycles is Euro 3 and specifically 0.15g/km. When we interrogate the spreadsheet we might expect that all pre Euro 3 motorcycles show an average in excess of 0.15 g/km at 30km/h to align with TfL’s position. However what actually find is that Pre Euro 1 <50cc mopeds, all 2 strokes, Euro 2 four strokes 250 – 750cc and all four strokes >750cc average below 0.15g/km. What is more, for the “dirty 2 strokes” that we all thought would be an issue, the modelled emissions are less than half the 0.15g/km standard!"
  15. Anything more recent than 18 years old article? most bikes tested would have been big bikes, but of course no detail given as to split
  16. How many is too many times?
  17. Give us your workings for the 5m baht? be good to see the detail
  18. Maybe the pickups that spew out black smoke have been souped up somehow but i don't see the same smoke out of a baht bus, have you?
  19. Should be able to connect phone to phone then copy files etc from one to the other using a file manager app
  20. Secure? not sure, but parking just up from Bali Hai. Assuming the main multistory parking is still closed
  21. Different, black smoke often comes out of pickups when accelerating away, never seen it from a baht bus
  22. Does that include the ones where black smoke pours out?
  23. Gofundme to help the teacher sue
  24. Worse polluters are pickups, lorries and coaches, baht buses not so bad
