  1. I have a Xiaomi air purifier, a month old, it showed 75% humidity when my cheap lazada 100 baht special showed 55%, 75% was comparable with forecast and friends reading
  2. the fact there's so few reviews suggests it's not being marketed in UK, maybe only Thailand, Buakhao
  3. Only a few reviews which is suspicious in itself https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.wrlife.net
  4. The Ops claim sounds suspicious, no further details provided. "They are indeed fair and trustworthy and adhere to their ethical approach to insurance for everyone" just sounds made up after a beer, or someone's told him to say it
  5. What you experienced is standard at Jomtien sadly. You will witness staff being rude to multiple people during the time there, partly caused by stress, but only certain staff are rude
  6. maybe @Liverpool Lou has the answers to that?
  7. probably no insurance, probably don't even holiday in Thailand
  8. hardly irrational, good to be sceptical when choosing insurance, what have you got?
  9. Do you beer it up after 5.30pm? BTW your Humidity values look way too low, probably need a new device
  10. it makes sense if you understand it, it only relates to Bangkok Bank which they use where no financials are required from the foreigner
  11. People wanting the agent route for their first retirement visa\extension often need the agent to open a Bangkok Bank account for them, no more. The fallout will surface sooner or later
  12. Nice one, i also count down the electric boxes
  13. Yes it's personal choice, no ones suggesting it's mandatory to top yourself at 80. Last few years can be a real miserable death
  14. yep if acceptable to them fine hang on to 100
  15. Ah good, provide some more details, what for? how much?
  16. Lately it's best Mike Shopping Mall to Walking St, occasional diamond in the rough. Lot's of freelancers also hang outside the indian hotels on 2nd road by Pratumnak, tend to be pom pui but occasional slim one
  17. BTW most people switch from OA to O visa to avoid the rubbish OA insurance
  18. Exactly, who wants to live 80s once you become very unwell, mobility not good. 70s it's doable to be fit and healthy
  19. Yeah i think the answer to my question is it's easier to do the crime unpunished in Thailand than China
  20. she only came 20+ days ago (as per the thread title), it's been planned for a lot longer than that I'm sure
  21. Strange story, why do it in Thailand when everyone involved is from China
  22. Interesting. A couple weeks ago it went up a level with heat and humidity for a few days, really noticeable, during our usual fast 100km cycle a few of us were really feeling it, heart not recovering as quick as usual, maybe wet bulb temperature
  23. I did my 90 day a couple weeks ago (no reminder received, Jomtien), next due June, this morning i get a reminder from Immigration that it's due 3\4, checked online, still due June, their timetable seems kaput, are people ignoring their reminders now?
  24. Certainly it takes longer than pulling out a thousand, sometimes phone is slow, can't focus on QR code etc, i agree you have to be in the banking app, password, fingerprint before finishing filling the bags
