    What you experienced is standard at Jomtien sadly. You will witness staff being rude to multiple people during the time there, partly caused by stress, but only certain staff are rude

    it makes sense if you understand it, it only relates to Bangkok Bank which they use where no financials are required from the foreigner

    People wanting the agent route for their first retirement visa\extension often need the agent to open a Bangkok Bank account for them, no more. The fallout will surface sooner or later

    Yes it's personal choice, no ones suggesting it's mandatory to top yourself at 80. Last few years can be a real miserable death

    Lately it's best Mike Shopping Mall to Walking St, occasional diamond in the rough. Lot's of freelancers also hang outside the indian hotels on 2nd road by Pratumnak, tend to be pom pui but occasional slim one

    Interesting. A couple weeks ago it went up a level with heat and humidity for a few days, really noticeable, during our usual fast 100km cycle a few of us were really feeling it, heart not recovering as quick as usual, maybe wet bulb temperature

    I did my 90 day a couple weeks ago (no reminder received, Jomtien), next due June, this morning i get a reminder from Immigration that it's due 3\4, checked online, still due June, their timetable seems kaput, are people ignoring their reminders now?

    Certainly it takes longer than pulling out a thousand, sometimes phone is slow, can't focus on QR code etc, i agree you have to be in the banking app, password, fingerprint before finishing filling the bags

    At the Queen Sirikit hospital maybe it's the eyes department, i got a quote for something, half the price of a Pattaya hospital, and someone i know had emergency heart treatment, pretty cheap apparently

    any dentist will be ok, none makeup fillings, remember you can always say no

    I agree the phone should be clean of ify apps, My ify apps are on the tablet and tv box only where there's no important apps, files etc
