I've travelled loads round the world happy to stay in Thailand for the foreseeable future.
One thing i notice with older folk is they like talking about themselves, today 85 year old, looks good for age, within 5 minutes told me his recent history without me asking
comparison sites do show the detail by clicking on the policy doc, they also show things like excess, repatriation, cover, etc in the summary, it's not difficult,if something is missing contact the insurance company like i did
They can read the policy doc it's there with the quote, also can message them normally, i asked once whether pillion was covered as not specified anywhere, they confirmed it was by email
Moral to the story, let's start going to Vets instead.
These hospitals charging for unnecessary treatment and meds and way too high should be prosecuted. Taking advantage of the sick
These people in relationships where there's mutual hatred, not an ideal situation when getting very elderly and need looking after, lady might prefer to use the falang as a door stop
Otteris or similar are the rage in Pattaya, quality side loading machines, 40+ baht, no need to iron or pay someone to do per KG, that's just a con, ironing socks and all that rubbish
As i said in another thread earlier today, a thai women's Thai Dad is in a Siracha hospital racking up 100k a day in ICU, it's in their interest to keep him alive as long as possible, in the meantime his lifesavings will be gone soon and the daughter left with no inheritance
Definitely to make money rather than healthcare. They just see it as an opportunity not to be missed. Whereas a govt hospital would probably try and get you out ASAP
A Thai lady i know, her father is in ICU Siracha, 100k baht a day and i thought it was just falang they milked.
Another lady her son was in ICU after an accident, 3m baht later, got him moved to govt hospital, private hospital didn't want him moved. Recovered well at govt hospital
