  1. Thanks for posting that. Obviously they are not prioritizing the most vulnerable, instead the rollout is firstly providing mass vaccinations in big population centers.
  2. You are not one of the 30,000 who are registered and have not been contacted, you are in the fortunate group of 22.000 who have been given a jab. To suggest that the 30,000 are at fault because they failed registration is disingenuous, at the very least. Where ever you actually live, it is close enough to a major hospital in the Province capital for you to easily travel there for the vaccination. To try to deceptively claim that you received the service in deep, rural Issan is very misleading.
  3. Deep rural Ubon! Ubon Ratchasima is one of the bigger cities in Thailand, The number of expats you saw there confirms you were at a major hospital in the capital city. They are not getting to the 30,000 or so people who have registered (and been accepted) who are actually in rural areas. To throw blame at those being overlooked is pathetic!
  4. All very nice for those who were at the head of the queue, but I would think the gushing thankyou notes would be more appropriately saved until the program has concluded and all who registered had received the service. There are many thousands waiting for the nod or wondering why they were rejected for piddling reasons.
  5. You arrived unvaccinated and therefore needed to quarantine for 14 days. Your nik suggests you're a nurse and have knowledge of your inability to get currently approved vaccines. Then you complain that you can't return because the only vax you can tolerate is unavailable in either place. Someone you know told you they only had a 7 day quarantine in a different place at a different time, so you embarked without acquainting yourself with the current guidelines. Somehow, you managed to enter Phuket, where you live, and instead of celebrating your return you're whining about not getting exercise for an extra week. Boo hoo from someone sitting in a wheelchair. (This poster states her gender is female for those who didn't notice)
