  1. :D:D it seems those people "Billyboy" met were wise enough. isn't it?

"Billyboy" in this world we should accept the truth that people are strugling to survive, sorry for that anyway.

but not only in Thailand you may face this trouble. guess what? Year 2002, I went to Venice. I ate in a foodshop and it shows lot of food set promotion so, I got one. Its a nice food I like them. but when the bill came the prize is different. originally the cost was 12.5 Euro but on the bill it shows 17.5 Euro in the same set, even it shows 17.5 euro I pay only 12.5 as it was then I ask them to reprint me a new bill. There was an argument of course but they f**ked up when I show them the food set promotion in the menu list. I saved my 5 euro, I gave thanks with the waiter/manager and I left. :D This is one of the worst case I ever had in Europe :o.

I don't know they intented to cheat but if I didn't react then, I f**ked up as well isn't it? :D

  2. This is very distrurbing to read. To kill someone you know for 1,000bt? I could understand if they were using drugs, but just to kill for temporary gain? At ages 13, 15 &16? Thai society has it's hands full if this is an example of the way the young people are thinking.

The whole episode probably just seemed like a video game to them! It's easy to make mistakes like that...the difference between fantasy and reality is really blurred for some people.

very sad to hear but its true. :o

  3. Why did  the fact that an Oxford student spent a night in police cells and was fined £80 for suggesting that a police horse was gay convince you to make Thailand your home?"

Probably the OP is WWF member and a straight catholic (friend of Pope Nazinger), so it's a terrible offence that a student called "GAY" an horse, an offence against animals (WWF) and an offence against the Roman Catholic curch ......

What the h ell!!! Just 1 night and 80 pounds!!! ONLY??

That guy should had been jailed for life!!! An the Horse refunded by 1 mill pounds!

    Amen :D

    :o:D

  4. The fact that the 5 names are included on the plaque is quite moving. Kanchanaburi too, a place of reflection. Will this be a permanent fixture?

I imagine this will be removed by the authorities very soon. No good for business.

Probably :o , but I hope not. anyway, Kan Win its a nice post "may all of them rest in peace"

  5. You know what guys, I am really surprised a bit here reading this thread.  It is unbelievable to even think that all this time the authorities knew who were the drug dealers and handlers and those who pass the buck along all these years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their background checking system has to be the absolute worst in the entire world.

No fricking way am I going to ever go towards Aussie land due to their lack of protection and security concerning passengers.

For pete's sake they could easily have bonifide terrorists working right smack on the tarmac and nobody would even notice or even bat an eye.

If those bozo's even tried to work in USA, they would never get past the application stage, because they would be arrested for other crimes instantly.

Going to BKK is a decoy for this sucker.   He is in another area perhaps right smack in Bali, which is practically the very last place anyone would think to even look, or he can still be right there in Aussie land and never left because immigrations would catch him almost right away.

In my opinion, Australia is totally all screwed up and they should be given a NO VOTE for any tourists.

    Daveyo

    Yeah Dave,

It's much safer in the U.S as long as you don't happen to be in any tall buildings or on one of the flights that gets hijacked and flown into one of the said tall buildings or happen to be employed in a diplomatic position at any of the many embassies throughout the world. Iin good old dangerous Aus we try not to train the very people who are going to commit these acts against us either but hey! no one is perfect right Dave :o

    :D:D:D

  6. In terms of cooperative and diligent I'd have to put Filipinos at the top.

There's more to being just "hard-working" to get the job done successfuly.

that's great! :o so I have to tell my filipino friends about it. thats why plenty of them in blue collar job around the world.

    Cheers! :D

  7. Mr. TAX should solve the energy problem as follow:

just put a DINAMO inside the p u ssy of the Thai BGs, and the expat community + tourists will generate enough energy to help also China and USA!!!!!!!!!!

:D:D That was funny Duke :D

I was told at my work to turn off the air-con for 1/2 an hour, which I never. It doesn't save money by turning it on and off in a big room. Stupid idea by toxin and nothing about money/energy saving.

    :D:D:o:D

  8. Definitely Chinese from the Mainland ! Hard and smart working, highly educated, quick thinking on their feet, flexible, outspoken.

Yep...I agree for this..but some of them like the tecnician/Engineer from Guangzhou who build our test lab, they work very hard from 8 AM to 9 PM but seems to be poor workmanship, some installation are out of standards. :o (I don't know the reason probabaly due to cost reduction) :D
