  1. Freeze on ice production after hepatitis outbreak

Hepatitis A, spread through the consumption of contaminated food or water, causes jaundice for a couple of weeks, but normally clears up of its own accord.

    --TNA 2005-05-25

    Don't listen to this man.

    I've had Hep A.

It lasted for months and nearly killed me.

It does not clear itself up.

Do I use ice ? NO.

yap, you don't use ice but how about the water nor the food? its doesn't matter but "George" post is just friendly reminder. :o

  2. to reduce the smoker: the family should advice the youngster about the risky of cigarette smoking. let today's smoker smoke until they died but the family should start now to play a great roll to descipline its member for the benefits of the new generation. :o

my father was smoker ever since but he is the only smoker in the family. he advice us not to smoke although he used to, atleast we follow his advice. we (family circle) don't smoke at all :D easy as that.

  3. How many favour the death penalty?

In my humble meaning, I think the death penalty is completely wrong. God told us not to kill and nobody on this planet has the right to kill. NOBODY. An NDE I had about 20 years ago brought me to this simple insight.

There are harsher punishments than the death penalty. In prison for life without any possibility of parole would be a much more adequate punishment than the death penalty, especially for this accused, if proven guilty. Imagine yourself, say 40 years in prison without the chance of ever getting your freedom back.

I know in Thailand this would never materialize this way and that is sad.

By the way who said the farang was spitting into the Thai policeman's face? He had one month time (while he was in hiding) to cook up this story.

i think if we are in the position nor relative of the victims we may say "Death penalty' as well, do you think so Dario? :o

  4. This topic is very hard to moderate. Please refrain from insults to the Thai Police.

    Thanks

    /admin

my friend's father was thai policeman.... aarrgghh he's pretty good. but, of course we can't blame anybody reaction here regarding the crime commited by the thai policeman. its very sad ended for two Brits, I hope this guy facing great sentence (death). :o

  5. But religious leaders and culture watchdogs are still upset, saying the episode violated traditional values and morality

    Unbelievable.

Has anyone here been to a northern wat and seen a Lum Wong.

It is performed inside the wat grounds and is definately sexual as in hands on.

I will get banned if I describe it in full.

yap, I saw once in sokhothai province. its songkran festival and there were a party in the temple premisses. guess what? ... they got a live band with sexy dancer and very loud music.. :D:D even the "NUN" were watching them. :o

  6. all of you guys got a good experience with taxi drivers, for me ofcourse i got a very good one sometimes and the bad one as well. in this world "even the prisoner who commit a terrible crime, he still something good in his heart" human are actually like that. :o

  7. Clearly a terrorist bird. If it were on a list, it would not be allowed in the air.

Are we getting just a bit crazy here?

Crazy about what? A cracked windshield on a cockpit window is very serious.

I am an Airport Rescue Fire Fighter and whenever something like this happens, we ALLWAYS respond to the runway at certain designated points on the airfield. Doesn't matter if it is a bird strike, hydraulic indicator lights or the runway is wet and the pilot is scared. We call it an IFE (In-flight Emergency).

They are very common. I would suspect that every large volume traffic airport recieves about 2-20 per week.

That doesn't surprise me at all..what does surprise me is how safe the most people feel in an aeroplane; I am always sxxx scared since the time i was sat drinking Jack Daniels in a beer bar on the sukhumvit road at 02:30 with an American guy who id met there a few days before.....all of a sudden he says; " Well i had just better get a bottle of whisky to take to the room and a girl too to keep me awake..no point in sleeping now. Why i asked, do you have to wake up early? No he said i got to fly a plane at 04:30 to Los Angeles...sounded ok till he told me he was the damned PILOT!!!!!.Since then i know that pilots surgeons and other such "highly qualified personnel" are just mistake making humans like the rest of us, and that society doesnt have everything under control like in mission impossible.Frightening to think that the guy driving your plane24 hours in the air hasnt slept and is drunk.I once saw a micro-surgeon smoke a joint before going in to perform surgery on some-ones throat too! So dont think that we are in safe hands always..humans are idiots and the world is in the hands of such.

    :o:D

  8. Bus drivers are definitely my least favorite group of people in Thailand.

Only once have I almost completely lost my temper and gone on a verbal tirade (i didn't, but i really wanted to) against anyone in this country. The person I wanted to go off on was the driver of a bus from Pataya to Bangkok who drove us home one night like a bat out of ######, weaving all over the place from lane to lane going way, way, way too fast. Instead I just gave him an evil stare and a shake of the head as we stepped off the bus.

There is only one solution: severe fines and penalties for bus traffic violations, AND....MOST importantly...even MORE severe penalties for cops taking bribes to excuse bus traffic violations. The government needs to go as far as setting up stings to entrap bribe seeking cops. Can anyone think of any better solution?

agree for this! :D co'z almost all of them (bus drivers) are reckless! :o

  9. Does Italy play football?

Is the Pope Cath... oh never mind.

Alcohol is a bit of a risky gift for a Thai mother. You might get labelled as an alcoholic.

Re being part of the family, if you're a boyfriend, they probably expect you to be the future husband. Scary, isn't it? :o

    This isn't Scary..this is terrorizing...

About the gift you are right..

I moved to Italian Olive Oil and Armani Purfume...the problem is with the boy. A ######ing t-shirt of ACMilan is not less than 89EUROS (around 4500THB for the non european readers).

    Thanks for the help

    giruz

oh man, its sound trouble for the boys gift. :D how about you try a mug with football team marks, or maybe a banner or even cheap t-shirt with the photo of DUMO. I think it would be great. :D
