Slightly off-topic, but aircon related.

What's the maximum distance for the piping between the compressor (the outdoor unit) and evaporator (indoor unit)? If I put the evaporator in the 2nd story bedroom, can I keep the compressor on the ground level?

I am not quite professional with this field but your case can be done. the first things you should consider is the capacity of Aircon unit you wanted to install. because different capacity got different range of distance between indoor and outdoor unit. you better consult the manufacturer or the dealer about this case, sometimes it varies in accordance with the brand of the airconditioners but generally the difference is not quite big. I hope this may help you

WESTERN UNION is quick ( depends on the organization especially with a bank) yet if you go to the WU office at the DEPARTMENT Store, such as Central.. they are quick, efficient..and know what they are doing..

Look at the webb site.. This would give you a better idea of the amounts you send out..and the conversion rate..but for safety and accuracy.. and less BS...

They do a good job.. I have no complaints..

This will get your money out..but you need to go to the shop yourself.. The banks will get lost in this maze of transactions.. but they do come through...but not as fast as you like or with some bizzare requirement..

If you genuinely want a Bachelors or Masters Degree from a distance learning establishment, then try America.

It does not matter if it is 80 miles to BKK or 8000 to America.

I did mine this way as I could not get the specialised course that I needed in the UK.

Unfortunately the university I used no longer does distance learning but here is a link you might want to consider.

You will be taking on a lot of work, about 3 to 4 years plus for Bachelors then another 2 to 3 years for a Masters,

I can not tell you the number of times that I nearly gave up

Still lucky co'z there is no casualties, I had an experience with luftansa airlines from frankfurt to nuremberg flight. 5-10 mins after take off the right engine was burnt out and after few minutes the left engine goes down as well.. thats my lucky day co'z we have 4 engine or else probably its my end. but the captain manage to returned back and landed safely. so we decided to use the train instead..

its was a trick for them to earn more, specially you are a foreigner. try to avoid them... check the meter when you got in and don't tell where are you going until the meter is not plug down, I my self got a sad experience about the taxi cab. we just came from a bussiness trip with my friend then got out from the airport and ride a taxi but I did not notice at first that the meter is not plug down. when we reach home then the taxi driver wanted to charge us 1600 THB but it was originally 500THB fare from Airport (Don Muang) to Samutprakan area. so we don't give him a sh*t, we got down unload our luggage, i gave him 800 THB and close our gate ... thats fair enough for those cheater... I told the taxi cab driver that if he doesn't want to move out from our place then I will call a police then he move his a*s but he's very angry with us...

You got lot of things to consider for moving here in Thailand. if the farang got a Thai wife then, I don't think there will be any problem. i found a great deal to live here. but, his wife Thai would ofcourse got pretty much consideration for living here than I had. . there were lot of previous post regarding with this matter, it may useful for them.

Yeah..I am agree, It's very unfortunate for people living in 3rd world country co'z the world are looking at them, degrading their beliefs culture and so on. but in reality, those are narrow minded people seems never looking back where they came from as well. very fortunate co'z they are living in a wonderful country they claimed. other people thinks the Thai or any other asian nation girls are sounds embarass wit them, then leave them alone and avoid go to the EAST.

I did not stay in Issan for long time just 3-5 days but, the people were cool and hospitable.

it would be great if the Thai government can do such thing easier that the previous process of paper works.

When my nose is blocked or running for any reason I like to get a tissue and give it a good blow.

When I do this my wife looks horrified and normally gives me a "look" or a telling off... especially when in public, I normally have a running nose in a restaurant due to the Chilli....

So... is blowing your nose considered impolite in Thailand, and if so, what should I do...? Wiping your nose often makes things worse... and sniffing it up makes an awful noise...

It happens to me oftenly with spicy foods. I can't help my self as well so I did it and say "EXCUSE ME" afterwards but in some cases seems not so polite to do that way. I my self try to use the restroom to blow it off and came back.
