    I wear my gold Rolex everyday in Thailand x 24 hours a day. I never take it off. Touch wood, never had a problem but there again I am not beering it up in Pattaya. One place I don't wear it is - London.

    Foreign investment across all sectors over the past 30 years have helped develop Thailand. Foreign buyers as well. I am all for developing better cash crops for Thai's but get used to something ... its called Competition ... and it doesn't care who you are or where you are .. its coming for you in one shape or form.

    Yep ... I am a Brit and increasingly ashamed of the reputation that some Brits create overseas .... sadly not just in Thailand although it seems to be a magnet for more than its fair share

    Makes my blood boil. How many Thai's travel to the UK or Europe or the US, get into an argument and then set fire to their hotel room? Zero. Absolutely none. Yet Brits and others come here and cause so many problems, every day. Find him and lock him up for a very long time.

    Even if they resolved the helmet issue, if he was not licensed to ride a bike in Thailand, that would be the next cause for declining the payout - rightly so.

    Honestly, if I were to steal organs, I would raid the locker department of lost and found at Suvarnabhumi where a significant number of tourists check in their brains before traveling onto Pattaya and other destinations. It would be the richest source available.

    Had a Russian come on all mafia attempting to intimidate me the other week when he breached his rental agreement. I had all his passport and family immigration details which I immediately took to the local police, made a police report and sent him a copy. He wasn't quite so 'ard after that and there was no more trouble. After 18 years here you figure out how to effectively deal with the trouble makers swiftly and effectively, one way or the other.

    Certainly, Chinese gangs seem very active in Thailand. No denying that. As they are in Cambodia as well.
