  1. Richard has lived here for many years and is well known. He has a motorbike license. He is not a tourist. It was a hit and run accident. Yes, he is a victim here.
  2. 1 3 unusual deaths / murders by poisoning and not a single one was picked up under autopsy? Something lacking in the area of pathology / forensics??
  3. All good things come to an end as does the utopian world during Covid where there was not a single Chinese tourist in sight.
  4. Yep ... I am a Brit and increasingly ashamed of the reputation that some Brits create overseas .... sadly not just in Thailand although it seems to be a magnet for more than its fair share
  5. Makes my blood boil. How many Thai's travel to the UK or Europe or the US, get into an argument and then set fire to their hotel room? Zero. Absolutely none. Yet Brits and others come here and cause so many problems, every day. Find him and lock him up for a very long time.
  6. I hope he gets dragged around the showers for 1km in a suitable Thai prison ... daily.
  7. Whatever it was he had been smoking ...... please don't pass it around.
  8. Jesus .. what a circus. He should have stayed at home.
  9. Such a small target market .. Brits in TH with expiring passports once every 10 years .. .. why even bother.
  10. she should be made to clean all the paint off, locked up, fined, deported and banned from entry again.
  11. 7-Elevens seem to be a magnet for more than a fair share of foreign troublemakers.
  12. Even if they resolved the helmet issue, if he was not licensed to ride a bike in Thailand, that would be the next cause for declining the payout - rightly so.
  13. Honestly, if I were to steal organs, I would raid the locker department of lost and found at Suvarnabhumi where a significant number of tourists check in their brains before traveling onto Pattaya and other destinations. It would be the richest source available.
  14. Had a Russian come on all mafia attempting to intimidate me the other week when he breached his rental agreement. I had all his passport and family immigration details which I immediately took to the local police, made a police report and sent him a copy. He wasn't quite so 'ard after that and there was no more trouble. After 18 years here you figure out how to effectively deal with the trouble makers swiftly and effectively, one way or the other.
  15. Certainly, Chinese gangs seem very active in Thailand. No denying that. As they are in Cambodia as well.
  16. The mystery of the "missing link" has been found alive and intoxicated in Pattaya.
  17. I have a business in Isaan and find it refreshingly pleasant to visit. Not a blunt in sight and genuinely nice people.
  18. Facing off against an irrate Big Joke who is determined to put you behind bars must be a terrifying experience for any cop. Keep up the good work.
  19. They dont look like the benefactors of a THB 3 billion scam. More like one wheel in a multi call centre cog. More like one operating arm for the Chinese masterminds.
  20. There is no need to be concerned in Phuket with the PSI index from the annual burning in Indonesia as it drifts across. The island is awash with pot shops and the pungent smell of weed on the beach and in the bars which can be an unbearable thick haze. Personally, I don't care if people want to trip out the stuff ... just don't subject me and my like minded friends to the same pungent smoke .... <deleted> off outside and smoke yer joints.
  21. Police, meanwhile, said that all the people who are responsible for the safe keeping of the caesium-137 will be questioned to discover how one of the canisters went missing from the power plant. Easy it was sold a few Baht, probably together with plastic bottles and other scrap metal.
