  1. The Swiss man said "I've fed bears before and I was just keeping my hand in."
  2. Maybe because they don't want family members or loved ones in places of ill repute. "Darling. I was at a company seminar."
  3. Nah. It was spirits. Sang Song, Lao Kao, or whatever its called.
  4. But black humour is not so rare. There are still those that have the fortune to have grown up with and enjoy dark humour. Especially us Brits. I'm surprised at your comment Lou. Scouser are renown for their humour, black or otherwise. But of course we have to get on the politically correct bandwagon and be offended.
  5. "Give me the 'bear' necessities. Old mother nature's recipes." The bear looks armless.
  6. Thankyou.
  7. My profile picture covers the X to exit the message. I'm 90 so not as sharp as I used to be. How do I move my profile picture? Good night
  8. I thought honesty was taught from childhood by parents. Not here it seems.
  9. Perhaps he was referring to wheelchair use. I've used it. I'm 90, but I've noticed quite a few who seem young and active using it. Mostly it would seem by the Indian travellers. Just an observation.
  10. Sorry to labour a point. This is a screen shot of showing why I can't close messages after reading or relpying without reducing to size to 33% and then going back to 50% as Jaywalker helpfully suggested. It's so annoying. There must be someway to get back the whole messenger box that includes X to turn off the message. Not delete it.
  11. Does this include the police officer parents?
  12. If you have those problems it's a bit collar and cuff. I'm 90 and not looking forward to it.
  13. I've deduced that this Opel Swing is a 1996 model. It runs well. Bangkok to Sattahip no problems. My wife is concerned that it might be overheating when she is driving it locally. Where can I find the normal running temperature information? Thanks for any pointers.
  14. Thank you and those that came up with good advice.
  15. Yes. My ex solicitor swindled me out of Bt200,000. Took him to court and it was agreed that he would pay regular amounts into the court. It never happened. He was sacked from his joint practice. The only satisfaction my wife and I got was to get him sacked from two non solicitor firms he worked at..
  16. That's the answer I was looking for. Thanks.
  17. Thanks.
  18. Thanks for the advice on Opals and bananas.
  19. That's the reason I mainly watch old British and American films.
  20. Ha Ha. But it's better than the 1993 Toyota Corolla that's given us good service, but just kicked the bucket, I think. Maybe it's worth a few bob? I've tried to save the planet by not using up its resources by buying new things. You may call it being, a tight arse. At 90, anything I buy now is a waste of money. Other than food and beer.
  21. My wife has just been given an old Opal Swing car. It's been in the family for years and the log book has gone missing. Is there any way to find the year of manufacture and are Opel Swing parts available in Thailand. Maybe this should be in the motoring section but I can't find it?
  22. I thought that those who had served prison sentences were barred from holding political positions? But then imprisoned in Australia doesn't count. Or even in Thailand it would see.
  23. And explosives. Without them, how would we have upped the ante regarding killing each other?
