My family know that I want a cheap cremation at the local Wat. My ashes divvied up. Half to go back to the UK to be scattered in the crematorium gardens, where my first wife, the mother of my children are scattered. The remainder scattered on the sea in Sattahip Bay. Where I will join my mother who had the same treatment twenty one years ago after enjoying her last years in Thailand.

It's obvious that those white collar households have a better diet than blue collar households. Maybe because they do not live on a diet of junk food. The world is following the Americans a...s when it comes to food. We now see people walking about carrying giant cups of coffee and sweetened drinks. Fast food outlets have a lot to answer for. But then It's up to the individual what they consume. But don't moan and get offended when someone refers to you as fatty, when it's a perfectly appropriate description.

Reading this is enough to put anyone off travelling out of the country. It reminds me of the WW2 poster in the UK. 'Is your journey really necessary?' At 88 I think my days of doing it are over. No insurance is available for those of my age.

It looks like both mother and baby were thrown out of the vehicle. I wonder if they had been wearing a seat belt their injuries would have been less severe?

In the UK in the 1980s I was arguing with one of my fellow workers. He was British of West Indian parents. Without thinking I used one of the sayings of those days, 'Come on Jim, 'play the white man.' His reply was. "Oh come on Ron, I expected better from you." It was an innocent remark, like 'play the game' and made without thinking. But being on the receiving end, it was seen as something different. He was a friend and I've regretted it ever since. Needless to say he gave me a black look. That's racist joke I suppose.

Me too. The Swede was mugged. It's very upsetting for me emotionally to read that the gentleman who allegedly mugged him is being hunted. Surely a posting in the national press asking for him, at his convenience, to report to his local police station would suffice? This has put me right off my mug of tea. Sorry. Cup of tea.

His biggest problem is bad acting. Fatty liver and hypertension. That shouldn't stop him serving his jail sentence. Nor should cataract surgery. He is a chancer. If he is released due to ill health, then so should all the other peasants serving time, with real ill health problems be released.????
