I agree, as I see it the problem is the strong Baht.

When I ask my friends who used to come every year: “When are you back?” Then the answer is: "We don’t know, because right now Thailand is too expensive from a European point of view, perhaps because the war in Ukraine has pushed the Euro down." I think that is where the problem lies for the Europeans because it is correct that Thai Baht vs. the Euro is up near the point where tourists, before the Corona, stayed away, because Thailand had become too expensive. What is the opinion of other Europeans?

Imagine you are a tourist in Thailand. You invite your wife to lunch and you want to enjoy a glass of Chardonay, to your delicius food, which you can in civilized countries. No cannot do Sir not before after 3 Pm. There are many good tings in Thailand but this law is not one of them it belongs in the middleage.

Was it because of Covid or was it because they do not serve alcohol between 11 Am and 3 pm. either one I agree it is STUPID

I fully agree too, and tourist don’t understand the law either. Why can’t I buy a bottle of wine for my dinner? ask the tourist. The sales women smile and say that is the law. You have to come back after 5 PM. What a joke. No, not many understand that law. This is after all the 21st century we live in. And not many understand the high tax on wine either. Not many Thai people can afford a bottle of wine, but they can afford cheap Thai whisky, which over time are much more harmful than wine.

I think it was more a problem a few years back before COVID. when Thai bath had rocket into the sky, many people had to leave Thailand because the pension had become to little, not enough money, when not enough money everything is expensive. If you know what I mean.

Yes, sorry it was not for free when I think back. I bought it for as far as I rember about 1000 Bahts from Microsoft but you don't have to pay evert month.

I don't know about Lazada but legal to buy office from Microsoft.
