Michigan State Rep sterilized herself to protest Trump
thesetat replied to connda's topic in Off the beaten track
If she is this stupid to do something like that for the reasons stated. Then I pity the state where she is a state representative and am curious how she even got into that position and remain? What a dolt. By the time she gave birth and raised the child where anything Trump initiated. It would have been changed from the various other presidents that the US will have in the future. -
Can not wait to see the replies of hate against Trump here about this OP. Currently, I am laughing at most of those regularly posting their Anti-Trump rhetoric. This Op must really get their goat. To imagine the other world leaders gathering simply to discuss Trumps success and how they wish their country to follow in his footsteps. Rooting out wokeism and illegal immigrants as well as auditing the government budgets to reduce national spending and debt.

USAID - Dems in full delusional mode as usual
thesetat replied to theblether's topic in Political Soapbox
i really do not think these complaints are about being audited and trimmed. Most of the complainers are the Dems. But I think the reason for their complaints is not because of what is being done. It is because WHO is doing it. Clearly the Dems know about the spending and had approved monies for some things the taxpayers money was being used for . https://www.wsj.com/opinion/the-left-didnt-always-love-usaid-us-agency-for-international-development-c7888341 If the Dems had begun auditing this NGO and demanding to see where the money goes and they were refused access to it. I am most certain the Dems would have shut the funding down and done exactly the same as Trump by looking at everything they used the money for. But this is the chance the Dems to attack Trump. They will find everything possible to use to attack what Trump is trying to do simply because it is Trump. The rhetoric about Musk not being a GOV official is a prime example. He is not doing anything without Trumps orders. And what he is doing is checking what non-gov officials have been doing with the money. I do not think the courts can stop Trump. I also noticed it has been over a week since Trump begun this against USAID yet, there is not a single poll telling if the taxpayers agree with Trumps actions or if they are against it and think he is wrong to do it. What I do know is that the USAID biggest cut of the money given them was to supply enemies or to do subversive actions with countries that the GOV did not want the people to know about. They did it to hide things they knew were wrong and not justified. This one action of Trump is going to set a precedence for other NGOs. Personally, I hope Trumps team can root out all the bad stuff and. begin the program anew actually helping people around the world. If my tax dollars are going to be spent in other countries it should be for the good of all people and not just the good of the President or Democratic party to negotiate. -
USAID - Dems in full delusional mode as usual
thesetat replied to theblether's topic in Political Soapbox
Yeah, I am sure offering millions to terrorist organizations are the only way to get them to talk. The same goes for paying 10s of thousands to have an LGBT show put on by another country. I can really see your point how the USAID is spearheading using this as the means to communicate with other entities. Ohh let's not forget about the millions sent to Hamas and the weapons the USAID sent. This USAId seems to do more to make or continue conflict than it does to help people. I guess you also think their donations to the WUHAN labs that most likely created Covid truly helped the world or the USA. -

3 weeks into it and you are complaining he has not found 2 trillion in waste yet haha.... pretty ridiculous to expect them to complete all that in less than a month. You are only adding to to the hatred of Trump and making yourself look bad in the process. I would love to see if you and 5 geniuses could go through the expenditures of thousand of programs in less than a month. Not to mention this is only from 1 NGO. Imagine all the others as well. It this is the starting point. They may be able to save more than double what Musk claimed would be possible. -
Roaring Lion Terrifies Residents and Tourists in Pattaya
thesetat replied to Georgealbert's topic in Pattaya News
People complain because of the roaring. Why aren't the police called for all the soi dogs barking? They do it nightly and are much louder than one lion. Surely, the neighbors are aware of the lions presence so I doubt anyone was scared hearing it roar. I would bet this man takes care of this lion a lot better than any Thai zoo. At least it is not being drugged and put on display for tourist photo shoots. Or killed to sell body parts to Chinese -
US Aid Freeze Linked to Refugee's Death at Thai Border

I think you are wrong. Especially given that most of this USAIDs money was for Black OPs and subversive OPs rather than for helping people. -
US Aid Freeze Linked to Refugee's Death at Thai Border
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
And how many americans die daily due to their lack of medical care? Because their budget is 1000 times less than USAIDs budget was. Absolutely no pre-thought to your post about one death when so many die daily in the US for the exact same reason. Lack of funding. You seem to only find your pity for someone when it is to go against something Trump has done. Many more Americans die because of a lack of health insurance than previously thought, concludes a new state by state study by Families USA, a non-profit organisation that advocates health care for all Americans. More than 26 260 Americans aged 25 to 64 died in 2006 because they lacked health insurance—more than twice as many as were murdered, Families USA said. In the seven years from 2000 to 2006 an estimated 162 700 Americans died because of lack of health insurance. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2323087/ -
Thaksin Pressed to Tackle Cambodian Call-Centre Scams
thesetat replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is why Thaksin continues to have his hold on the government and in politics. Even the news OPs show he is the one people turn to to get something done. They give him this power. Thaksin Pressed to Tackle Cambodian Call-Centre Scams Why do they not press the PM or the government bodies that are supposed to do this? -
Yeah.... you can delete and remove things. But they are never really gone. digital footprints will always remain and lead back to you. It only takes a techy to find them. Which I am sure the government and Musks employees can sort out easily enough. You can run but you can not hide haha... Even Thailand has the tech to find posts deleted. I recall they recently arrested some woman for sex content that she posted a few years ago and then removed. They were still able to find it and prosecute.

Colombian President Suggests Cocaine Should Be Legalized Like Whisky
thesetat replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Sounds more like their leader sold himself out to the drug cartels so the violence will stop. Cocaine is not the same as alcohol. It is highly addictive and when using it causes your body to demand more. It reduce rationality to obtain it as well. Most criminal activity is done so the user can purchase more of the drug. -
Thai and mighty: President Xi praises Thai PM for scam crack down
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
giving lip service. It is obvious Thailand has sold its soul to the Chinese. -
They need to ban it across the country in any sensitive work. Personally, i would be happy if they banned it across the world. The same goes for Siri in Apple and Chatgpt and all the other programs similar to this. These apps are constantly listening through your microphones unless you deliberately disable their permissions. ( I am not saying they all do this, only they have the capability to do it ) Which means they can listen and record and transmit anything heard which is ridiculous and violates your personal rights.

These people with visas need to know their place. They are permitted to stay in the US to study but that does not mean they are granted the same rights as an American. Even in Thailand if you spoke out at protests you will be deported with your Visa cancelled. If you break any laws your will be deported just as if you enter illegally you will be deported. Why some members here think it should be different in the US I can not comprehend as it is the same in every country. You are invited to retired or study and given a Visa. But you have no rights to the peoples constitutions of those countries to do and act like a citizen does. You are a guest and should act like one without involvement in politics or other controversial things that do not even apply to you because you are not a citizen. Get them all out I say, and good for Trump to call them out and let them know they will be deported for their actions that caused so much chaos in the schools.

Thai man assaulted by seller for trying on shoes without buying - video
thesetat replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Hogwash, many times I have been shopping with my family and doing this same thing. Noone buys shoes without trying them on first. There is obviously more to the reasons for this mans actions and violence. Perhaps unrelated to his work yet making him upset while there. The woman should file charges for assault against the man and a nice lawsuit against the store owner or mall. -

Cameroonian Man Arrested in Bangkok for Fake US Dollar Scam
thesetat replied to Georgealbert's topic in Bangkok News
Hehe... incredibly stupid. As well as falling for the bigger and better deal the police offered for their sting. I bet this guy was seeing dollar signs in his head prior to seeing the handcuffs haha... -
No, it is not illegal to take away monies to a State for not adhering to Federal policies. From chatgpt Yes, the federal government can withhold or withdraw funding from states that do not comply with federal guidelines. This practice is often used as a means of enforcing federal policies, especially in areas like education, transportation, and health care. However, there are legal limits to this power, and the conditions attached to federal funding must be clearly stated and related to the federal interest in the particular program or project.
