Engine oil not leaking but decreasing
steve187 replied to villageidiotY2K's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
oil should be 0w20, if its going down, then it is going somewhere, if no visible signs then its being burnt in the engine, or going in the coolant -

Under Consideration - 2 months
steve187 replied to connda's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I understand that some offices date the 30 day period from date of application and others from date of expiry of old extension, so if Appling 30 days early and the office dating the under consideration period for date of expiry. it could be a 2 month period. -

Visa exemption VS retirement visa
steve187 replied to dani305's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
When it becomes time for the 'retirement' route, i would obtain the non imm O visa in home country and if you must use an agent for the yearly extension, that can be done so i'm told for less than 15,000thb in Pattaya -
Visa exemption VS retirement visa
steve187 replied to dani305's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
a friend has been doing VE entry every other month for years month on month off. did the op say for ever or is that a wild guess if they provide the 800,000thb, (at a price of 30,000thb i would have a calculated guess that is the case with the OP) how do you get around some of the money being in the bank all year round, 2 months before, 3 months after before dropping to 400,000thb until 2 months before, they do check with non agent applications -

if you only require 45 days each visit stick with the VE entry once you use an agent you are stuck with them, why line an agents pocket -
