  7. you will not find one for the op's price range, maybe an early MU7, I think the Captiva may be the way to go, for the money available

  9. in a perfect world yes, but never in Pattaya
  10. regarding grout I am a grey grey on floors and white on the walls man, one brand of adhesive i used in the UK had 32 colours of grout with matching colours of silicone, just use some bleach on the grout should clean it, yes the gap should be about 3mm to allow for expansion, should also allow a gap around the outer edge of the tiled area, also you should have an expansion gap every 8metres of run, that's where the matching silicone colours come in, laying tiles with no gap is asking for trouble, the same thing goes for not using a suitable thin bed adhesive, especially for porcelain tiles
  11. when you leave Thailand without a re-entry permit or a still valid multi entry visa, your permission to stay ends,
  12. being born in UK doesn't make you British i believe
  13. Thai air have A350-900, which have a different engine to the effected Cathy Pacific A350-1000
  14. might be me, but i can not see a yearly extension issued while on either a tourist visa or a VE entry
  15. are they still using the rickety old ferries
  16. photo's of stamps issued on a tourist/VE entry would be good
  17. these constant 'brown envelope' remarks do get boring,
  18. the problem with agents suppling the 800,000thb for the extension is getting away from them to do it yourself the following year, married or retirement, as you have not complied with the 2 months before, 3 months after and 400,000thb remainder of the year, best to stay away from agents and find an alternative,
  19. you are allowed one 60 day wife extension per entry into Thailand, excluding re-entry permit entries,
  20. not quite correct. my take on it is anyone single who is a tax resident, and has assessable income of 120k+ per calendar year should file, or 220k+ if married and are filing a joint return.
  21. you need a work permit to give golf lessons
  22. i came off for the 1st time, bike sold next day, car only from now on, 3 things to avoid in Thailand, Bikes, minibuses and sitting in the back of a pickup
  23. I just completed this quiz. My Score 90/100 My Time 309 seconds
  24. when you say when you say new 'visa', where did you obtain the 'visa' inside or outside of Thailand
  25. the driver should have called the insurance company to the scene, and you should have kept out of it, you have only complicated things by poking your nose in. i think it was your friends fault as you stated the bike was parked.
