  1. op best to go and apply for the yearly extension in the last month of the 90 day non immigrant visa stamp, so 17th November on wards, the money needs to have seasoned for 2 months the only extensions allowed on a non immigrant 'O' visa area yearly or a 60 day visit Thai wife, i assume the money was in the bank when he applied for the visa,
  2. I went and applied on monday, they rang today to come see us, but we were out so made an anointment for tomorrow wednesday, he could travel abroad during the 7 weeks but he will have to start process again on re-entry, he applied too early, some offices do the 30 day period from the date of application as does mine, but others start the 30 days from expiry of old permission to stay stamp, I think you are making a mountain out of a mole hill
  3. not available in Thailand at the moment i believe
  4. married yearly extension always have a 30 day under consideration period, i don't see where you are getting the '70 day home bound' from, you would only be stuck near to home, not at home until the home visit is concluded, which is normally a few days after the application, and at most 30 days, as to travelling out of the country while having an under consideration period, reentering Thailand would require a fresh entry stamp, thereby losing the yearly extension, and starting from scratch. what is so important about travelling during that 30 day period once a year, which in reality is only a few days waiting for the home visit. if the married extension is too troublesome try a different long term solution that is trouble free and immediately issued
  5. I would break the car for bits and keep the number plates and book as a reminder, but they could be useful to someone who wants to put a restored vehicle back on the road, what is the age make and model of the vehicle
  6. i think it will be hard to get the material, i would look at buying some 2nd hand seats from a breaker
  7. regardless of where they enter from, if entering on a tourist visa they will get a 60 day entry stamp, is entering on a visa exempt entry they will get a 30 day entry stamp, both can be extended by 30 days at a local immigration ofice
  8. Rayong do yearly home visits for marriage extension, if no children
  9. what cars sold in Thailand are using LFP batteries, and are any EV cars built or planned to be built in Thailand
  10. i think the best way would be to find a buyer at an agreed final price, and they together with the daughter would go to the finance company and pay the finance outstanding amount and sort out the DLT book, and then pay your daughter the balance, or i suppose they could with the finance companies agreement take over the remaining payments, with cash payment for balance of the agreed price to your daughter
  11. my son has 2 dedicated parking spaces in his condo in Bangkok both with dedicated charges one for a mg maxus and one for a bmw i4
  12. 'big cat insurance ' do policies for up to 2 years for ages up to 69/70 i believe, can also be taken out while in Thailand ie not in UK and i believe no time having to be spent in the UK
  13. says 500,000thb here- Visa Extension – สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง – Immigration Bureau see section 11 here - Visa Extension – สำนักงานตรวจคนเข้าเมือง – Immigration Bureau
  14. yes you can, would be better to obtain a fresh 90 day entry, and then a 1 year extension, saving the 60 day extension, in case it is needed sometime in the future ( you can only obtain 1 x 60 day wife extension per visa or visa exempt entry, not on a re-entry permit entry)
  15. why do they need the latest spec fighters, must be plenty of lower spec fighters out there, who aren't worried about china getting the specs, which is what would happen if Thailand get them. all this high tech armed forces equipment subs, fighter planes, ships as well as high speed trains, when pensioners get 600thb a month to live on
  16. you don't seem to understand that well, savannakhet has been good for many years for married multi entry non imm 'O' visa without financials, it seems going by the op they are tightening up, and only now offer a single entry without financials, which is good for a stay of 150days with a 'wife' 60day extension, the 400,000thb has been needed for in country yearly extensions, i think you need to put your bed next to the wall to save getting out the wrong side.
  17. seems a lot to me, less than half of that for me at Rayong - kor ror 2, & marriage cert, copy of Wife's i.d and house book, bank letter, bank id page and last 2 months of bank book, photo's, my passport id page, latest visa and extension stamp i don't see the problem one time one year, office is 10-15 minutes drive from the house, always quiet, less than a hour out of my 365 days retirement .
  18. are you saying its one piece of paper for a 'retirement' yearly extension as opposed to 76 pieces for a 'married' one
  19. all visa exempt entries need extending to 90 days,( scrap the evisa tourist visa nonsense) 90 day address reports need extending to 1 year ( at yearly extension renewals)
  20. I have had a 2022 zs model x petrol for 18months 15,000km its the cvt model, so far no complaints, easy to drive, comfortable, quiet, nippy away from traffic lights, smooth gear changes all the way through the box, kick down smooth /responsive when required, no problems at all, averages about 16km/ltr, would i recommend 'yes', would i recommend to a Chinese hater 'no'. they will find something to complain about either in realty or in their minds
