  4. personal experiences are always a source of good information
  5. the op did not post on here to obtain information from a doctor, for that i assume he would speak to a 'Doctor'
  6. When it becomes time for the 'retirement' route, i would obtain the non imm O visa in home country and if you must use an agent for the yearly extension, that can be done so i'm told for less than 15,000thb in Pattaya
  7. a friend has been doing VE entry every other month for years month on month off. did the op say for ever or is that a wild guess if they provide the 800,000thb, (at a price of 30,000thb i would have a calculated guess that is the case with the OP) how do you get around some of the money being in the bank all year round, 2 months before, 3 months after before dropping to 400,000thb until 2 months before, they do check with non agent applications
  8. if you only require 45 days each visit stick with the VE entry once you use an agent you are stuck with them, why line an agents pocket
  9. i started working in 1972 and only needed 35 for full state pension, where do you get '' Only those that have started work since 2016 will need 35 years'' from, you are adding to the confusion
  10. I wonder what fake brands they were reproducing
  11. 40% of the passengers want P'lok, 60% want N Sawan, so no one left for Bangkok
  12. if the seller has the Blue book for the vehicle there is no loan outstanding on the vehicle, as the finance company only hand over the book once fully paid for.
  13. The Thai allowances are similar to the UK, 60,000 personal allowance, + 190,000 if over 65,+100,000 if money is pension, + first 150,000 is free of tax = 500,000 =£ 11,627. additional 60,000 if making a joint claim with the wife
  14. not forgetting pie and mash, and jellied eels
  15. I think the PM and Reeves will resign. The petition to 'call a general election' stands at 1,764,164, and going up at a fast rate, bearing in mind that it is early hours in the UK
  16. substitute cash for cheque, no risk at all
  17. maybe but it clearly states in the title 'English bangers and mash'
  18. I think the track infrastructure needs a lot of work, railway crossing need improving, dual tracks are required nationwide, before the introduction of high speed train, lets get a good network of medium speed trains running first, let SRT walk before it can run
  19. you replied to a post from 30 months ago
  20. a 60 day visit Thai wife extension can only be applied for once on each type of entry into Thailand ( excluding re-entry permit entry) so only apply for it if required, better if possible to keep it in reserve just in case it is needed one day down the line. ( maybe years later) all the best with the change to a 'married' extension
  21. just had the wife's almera done at fit auto. big tesco/lotus in car park at kilosip 790thb ptt synthetic oil, filter and labour
