  1. that's the purpose of insurance, why the bus company, was it to blame for the 'accident'
  2. back in the day i went via pong nam ron often and i never left Thailand only my passport did
  3. they are asking for type of visa, I always put non immigrant O, ( albeit that the visa expired years ago) a reentry permit is not a visa
  4. do a border bounce as close to 18th Feb as you can, then do a 30 day extension on this new entry, KUL is good for same day turn around, but worth a few days if you current permission of stay expires before the 18th Feb. all foreign travelers entering Malaysia are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card at https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main . This is an online pre-arrival form that must be submitted within three days prior to arrival in Malaysia, there are no visa charges i believe.
  5. if you do not pay tax or have any UK income, what do you want to show, that you paid no tax and have no income? in the UK, its called PAYE if you only have pension income, that how you pay ( through a tax coding) any income tax due
  6. you need dlt smart queue on web or app - https://www.google.com/search?q=DLT+SMART+QUEQUE&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  7. different areas different rules, you would be better posting where you would be applying mine was easy, but the lady that does them in our amphur lives a few doors away
  8. some attitude, its an open forum if you want professional legally correct answers, then ask a professional
  9. there appears to me to be a clear view to the lorry to stop in plenty of time if paying attention or not driving too fast, the opening post says ''the motorcycle, driven by a 14-year-old boy, lost control at a curve and collided with the truck'' so maybe a bend prevented the lorry driver seeing anything coming when he started the turn. as to the bike, he should have been driving at a speed where it is safe to stop in the distance that you can see to be clear
  10. You can get 1 x 60 day 'visit Thai wife' extension each entry into Thailand excluding re-entry permit entries.
  11. I would think for you if that's the way you are thinking would be to renew in UK, easier to do, cheaper and easier to sort out any potential problems. another way would be to obtain the next extension which will be issued for 10 months ( passport expiry date), then renew passport early 2025, before the new yearly renewal date in June, i am in the same boat as you, with a passport expiring in may 2025,( issued for longer than 10 years) with yearly extension renewal in early december. i am still thinking what to do, no trips out of the country planned.
  12. do we have to have this tax return sh*t rammed down our throat every thread op you would be better trying to get a multi entry tourist visa prior to traveling
  13. he stated the agents could do it, see here ''I've already had a chat with Maneerat Travel in Soi 13, and they said yes they could do it'' i don't think its allowed, but the point i was making is that if the agent said it can be done, then it makes no difference if the permission to stay extends past the visa expiry date, which is what the op asked, see here '' So, if I were to apply for a retirement conversion from this Non-O during the 90 days after the visa itself has expired, would that be an obstacle to getting the retirement extension?''
  14. he has a visa, so he can do a border bounce using the multi entry visa and get a new 90 day entry stamp, that takes him past the visa expiry date, nothing to do with a re-enty permit op the entry that extends past the expiry date of the visa is as good as one that doesn't, so the agents could still obtain a 1 year extension
  15. I believe if you Dial *500*9# will Add 30 days validity for 30 THB taken from balance
  16. maybe you could obtain a 60 day visit Thai wife extension as close to your departure date as possible ( you have not said when this is) together with a re-entry permit which will cover you to 14th November as the 60 day extension will start from the 16th September.
  17. I think number 1 on the general publics mind is prices (electric, gas, council tax bills and food), immigration is a close 2nd
  18. how would that work for a child born in Thailand to a non Thai mom and dad, the child would only have a non Thai passport.
  19. still would be nice to see all the passport stamps over the last few months although i think some of the problems could have bee caused by the op, read the tone of his op.
