Really? Leaving £20,000 in a Thai bank for the so called privilege of living in a third world country. I don't call that a Joke...
you don't have to live here

Yes, you should, and you shouldn´t have been talking about license, as my knowledge tells me that a passenger no need one. On the other hand, I can be wrong.

sorry should i have posted being on a m/cycle.
the post was generic to all the posts that appear on here about being on a m/cycle with either no insurance, or not being covered by the insurance they do hold, or not having a licence, i would think it was not a very good helmet or was unfastened, Koh Samui is high on the list of places for m/cycle crashes.

Good that I was in Bangkok anyhow and didn't leave for a weekend trip to the south, not sure what would have happened then with my visa application if they didn't find me at home.

have you tried pong nam ron, about 20km south, is it because they will not let you return due to too many entries
-
work out the cost for both sets of flights, and if any is left, refund that amount, ie if they underpaid you for the 1st full fare flight by $100 and they overpaid you $110 for the latest flight then refund them $10 less your admin fee.

I bought of a dealer and got a warranty etc etc - the car lasted for 10 years.
You could get a freindly mechanic to check it out for you - then if he keeps having to fix it, he will lose face.
you can have the best check there is on a monday and the car then breaks/stops working on the tuesday. murphys law

So it looks like I would have to put the 800K in first, immediately start adding 65K deposits in my existing Bangkok Bank account. At the end of 12 months, I could then withdraw the 800K and show immigration my deposit proof?
the 800,000 has to be in your bank 2 months prior to the application, and 3 months after the extension is issued, it can then drop to 400,000thb for the remainder of the extension period. if in the 2nd year you want to change to monthly money income, you would have to leave the money in the bank until the new extension 2nd year is issued. this is to satisfy the requirements for the 1st year extension

Got the Oppo A52. Piece of <deleted>.
Never touching an Oppo phone again.
There is a feature called "Smart Bar" that is ON by default, that was crippling the performance on my phone. Once is was disabled, things appear to be much better, but for a budget Android around the same price, you can't beat Xiaomi phones.
@ Petermik,
how are you finding it? Responsive, snappy???
xiaomi phones do not have google apps or play store

After that, you can get a 30 day extension from local immigration then after that, you can fly out and come back the same day and get another 45 days and then go to local immigration Get 30 days more
not really the 45 VE entry is due to finish on the 31st march, so any VE entries after that will be 30 days, (unless extended)

It's already burned through a lot of money.
At what stage does that someone start to look over their shoulder?
not sure how it feels like that to you, that's a ridiculous suggestion, there are far far cheaper options, you have mocked their efforts relentlessly

Not Bangkok. Thai wife had neither licence. Asked at LTO and paid 2,000 baht for each licence. No tests required.
that's why they are such bad drivers, and why Thailand has the road death toll it has.
the best way would be to find a driving school and get the Thai licence from there, should start with a 2 year licence.

I thought the non imm O visa 800k needs to come from abroad? the subsequent yearly extension they don't check the 800k was from abroad
1 hour ago, KannikaP said:The funds for the 800k DO NOT need to be shown as coming from abroad. Only the monthly transfers need to.
I would have thought that someone being a member since 2015 would have seen this in the numerous posts on this.
i think you will find that the funds required (800,000thb) for a within country non imm 'O' visa for retirement as part of a conversion process, do have to come from abroad unless the funds have been in your bank account for a long period of time, likewise the 65,000 monthly income does also have to come from abroad, unlike the 40,000thb required for a 'married' yearly extension

Sounds like you are too lazy to coat your chips before putting your chips in the air fryer - mine come out perfectly.
If you don't use the air fryer properly it will become redundant.
maybe because you are using oven chips, because that's the only way chips in an air Fryer will be as good as oil fried chips

The private hospitals don't have vaccines anymore.
As of last week, Bumrungrad, Bangkok Hospital, Samitivej, Medpark, St Louis and Sukhumvit Hospital all deny having vaccines.
Kasemrad Prachacheun offers Pfizer only for those who earlier paid for Moderna and still didn't get it.
Vejthani denies having vaccines, but you can get free Pfizer once a week if you make it on their list.
23 hours ago, Tropposurfer said:The answers as to yes have been posted well already.
To the issue of vaccine brand preference if you contact the big private hospitals in BKK you'll be able to select the ones you want. Ring around and book appointments for their shots at the hospital which serves up the vaccine they're wanting before your friends arrive to save waiting longer (or at all?).
you don't seem to have read 'lorry's post, which i have reposted to help

"... ganging up to steal property and escaping arrest".
Gives a new twist to sending in the bailiffs. They should be done for trespass with criminal intent by the hospital, and/or police. Thailand needs to regulate their nefarious businesses.
is that a real offence in Thailand, or are you just making it up, robbery seems to fit the facts for me, of just plain theft

Multiple Entry Visa Problems
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted
there is no problem in staying 3 months or in your case 2.5 months after the expiry date of the visa, an entry 1 day before the expiry date of the visa will allow (with an extension) this,
