3rd floor MBK i think - where all the jeans shops are... you'll find copy Tommy, Raulph Lauren shirts, t-shirts along with all the other usual suspects.
Ive seen eck-eck-ell sizes in emporium too - these are genuine (i hope
)failing that im sure you could have shirts made complete with a label sewn on, they do it with suits so im sure shirts would be done too.

Ive stayed at the Royal Parkview on Suk Soi 20 on a few occassions, very nice, clean, good breakfast - prices around 1100bht to 1500bht depending on time of year etc.

the Rembrandt Hotel Suk Soi 18 wasnt too bad either, about the same standard and price.

im planning on moving to thailand sometime in the future, im only 29 so my biggest fear would be generating enough income to keep us ticking over to sustain me n wife so we didnt eat into our savings and then have to come back to UK to save more money.
this bothers me on a nearly daily basis - we would both like to move to thailand asap, but i just cant see it happening for a good few years yet..

jeab tattoo suk soi 8 or 10 - the soi is almost directly opposite the ambassador hotel and that beer garden (if its still there). About 25metres from the main suk road.
he has a very good reputation - ive been to him twice now, very clean and professional.

I always wondered, why do peoiple choose their "life" partner , what criteria does aply?
To start it of, heres mine....
1. The potential partner should have the look of a atleast a 7 on a scale of 10...
Why..well if not, its to tempting to go "butterfly"
2. The age difference should be no more than 5 years...
Why...To have a fairly simular basis of expirience and matureness...
3. The potential partner should be able to match your wits and intellectuality...
Why...Othervise it would be very boring.....
4. Simular life goals...
Why...to be able to work toward futrure goals as a team, as opposed to trying to cahnge eachothers goals and views....
5. If you have to choose between a night out with friends or with your partner..youir partner wins.....
Why..It should be evident....
As an alternative ..to be able to go out with friends and bring your partner..without it having to dampen the mood....
So come on....whats your criteria?????????
Most of the time, what I can see is that farang do not choose their thai partner.... but the thai partner choose him, and then stupid farang falls in love...
Some guys coming here seems so desperated that they marry the first whore who give them some attention...
Sometimes I wonder if they could also fall in love with a goat...

I stayed in Thailand for 9 months, the first 4 months spent travelling around doing the backpacker thing, the next 5 with my, now wife, who didnt speak english - so i did one of those 30 hour thai language classes at Thonglor, BKK.
By the time I was due to come back to UK i was able to hold basic conversation - my thai is not as good now, and im easily confused as my wife teaches me some thai and some issan
we now speak our own brand of english+thai+isan and understand eachother perfectly... its just everyone else that doesnt!
