Sad to think that this sort of thing goes on, anywhere . . . here, Cambodia or wherever. And when you look at how the meat is being 'butchered', I think that to use that term, here, is an insult to all 'proper' butchers. Any H&S inspections carried out in these parts? . . . I don't think so, somehow.

Anyone who is concerned with their health shouldn't eat dead flesh. On the rare occasions that I do, it's imported. As for the Thais, strange 'Bhuddists' that eat meat three times day.

When they bother others,  it's doing God's work,  when others bother them,  it's 'Persecution'.

The Roman Emperor Constantine has a lot to answer for, never mind Caligula, Nero, and Commodus, what a supreme dick he was.

We're still sorting out the religious crimes resulting from his brainwashing to this day.

Absurd. Christianity had been steadily growing for 300 years and it's likely would have emerged dominant  despite Constantine jumping on the bandwagon, he simply picked the winning horse. We are lucky that he didn't choose one of the many other fringe religious and cultish groups that people could choose from at the time most of which were decidedly wacky.

Besides, what he's really celebrated for, is for establishing Constantinople which allowed the Roman Empire in the East to live on for another 1000 years after the fall of Rome, which isn't bad going.

I know I’m talking about two different things.

The common denominator between them is human activity, though.

The truth is not propaganda and, until we all realise this, the situation will not improve.

You're wasting your time trying to explain to idiots like that. Most people understand and are concerned, but for some reason these dullards have a mental block.  How would it be possible for many decades of heavy industrial emissions on a small planet not to have a serious impact?

The climate is always changing, always has been, always will be.

Ice ages come and go, etc, etc - between them there are temperate periods which are also not static.

And for you to have noticed these natural changes in temperature within the span of a lifetime you would have had to have been  a hundred thousand years old or more, which I take it , you are not.  WAKE UP!
