It's pity humans can't let nature take it's course. Just have to interfere. I'll bet that beautiful snake was killed too.

How about that. They all look like corrupt evil crooks. Why did the UK even let him in? Military dictators are welcome now it seems. Wouldn't surprise me. We've got May, who's managed to trash the country singlehanded. What's to lose?

So what? Just a little harmless voyeurism, some love to watch, others love to be watched. Those other ships in the area pulling tons of fish out of the sea, and cutting off shark fins are the ones that need to be taken down.
Now, apparently if you screw one eye nearly shut, then blink the other one really fast, you can unpixilate the image.

So depressing all this sexist bigotry . How can people be so narrow minded , unaccepting, and hateful about something like a person's sexual orientation in 2018? I really would dread having to meet some of these neanderthals in person. A good reason never to strike up a conversation with the slob in the next seat on the long haul back home, just in case he turns out to be a TV bigot.

This dam was given the 'go ahead' several years ago, nothing can stop it now, billions are already being spent on concreting the river banks for 200 kilometres downstream from Chiang Khan, presumably they think that the fluctuating waters from the dam will cause erosion of the river bank when the the dam is operational, so the planning of one piece of ecological disaster sets another one in motion, and so on, until there is nothing left. Those running the show, perhaps 50 corrupt top players, Laos and Thai, but colluding with each other, have already envisioned their bright future of large houses, imported cars, and wealthy extended families, a life of unimaginable luxury to the detriment of the environment and the poor. There is NO turning back from THOSE dreams.

Just another illiterate moron going on about 'life fitness' and 'motivation for life', whatever those are. The more involved and expensive these courses are the less likely you are to actually break into a sweat, what with manhandling those stupid brightly coloured plastic objects, and shouting out 'because I am worth it!' like the gullible idiot that you are. All you need for fitness is a pair of shorts, a vest and some trainers, and just get out there and run 5 K every day.

The school should be doing it for you. All of it. If you are trying to do all the paperwork on your own, I doubt you'll succeed. It's a complicated process involving visits to many agencies including the dreaded and hostile Krusapar. Good luck. Can I politely suggest you read some English Literature to try to improve your grammar.

Why not? It'll be more exciting than the football, which is the most overrated moronic game ever conceived.

Good for him. Any adult riding a bicycle can give us at least a little hope for the future. He looks lean and fit too.

Prayuth is going nowhere. No way will he give up power unless it is forced from his grip.
And certainly not while he and his cronies have got their snouts in the trough. London mansions are awfully expensive nowadays.

I dont grow them for profit, I grow them to make the land look tidy and not a jungle.
'tidy and not a jungle' It's supposed to be a jungle, it's what nature intended. So you ripped out all the trees, habitat and food for many species of birds and other wildlife so you could plant pineapple that you don't want, but are in nice tidy lines. That sickens me. No don't reply, I doubt we'd have anything useful to discuss.

That's strange, most of the ex-pat's I've met and known in Bangkok over the years have no children, and absolutely no intentions of having any, and many have had a vasectomy, I don't know where this 90% comes from. As for Pattaya, at least 90% have NO children living with them. In the North East, perhaps 50% have children living with them, but many are unlikely to be able to afford an International school.

Environmental degradation of any form simply isn't on the radar of Thai people, who tend to notice other people, food and shopping, and not much else.. The government is currently concreting over the banks of the river Mekong ending thousands of years of fertile grassy banks, it's a 30 year project which sees the movement of millions of tons of rock and concrete into rural areas every year, and the removal of thousands of trees. Concrete and steel walkways where there are no people! Absolute insanity, just for the enrichment of a few dozen people making that 20%. Yet, not a word of protest against it. Do most Thais register the mounds of trash all over Thailand? No.

A lot of the teachers don't even know of WW2, certainly not the dates ,which is odd, given that Thailand was most certainly affected by the war, mainly by the Japanese invasion and occupation, which has largely been forgotten. However, NAZI memorabilia is not illegal here, and it isn't in the UK either. I remember when I was at school in the 70's, one of the boys collected genuine NAZI items, including flags , belts and buckles, SS caps, tunics etc. After school he set up as an advisor on war movies, and was/is very successful , working on Saving private Ryan and many other blockbusters.
There are also many reenactment societies in the UK and France, that dress up as NAZI and American and British troops to commemorate the Normandy landings, Dunkirk, and so on. Driving around northern France in full regalia. This complaining Frenchman is presumably ignorant of such events.

While the story itself is really horrible, the nastiest part is there were 150 sick individuals lined up for a bunch of young boys in just one town. That repeated nationwide would just be horrendous. Even Pattaya would be shocked at those numbers.
A little naive, put a 15 yo girl on beach road dressed for the part, and see how long she has to wait for a john. 2 minutes? Once word got around there would be people lined up waiting for her.

The irony being that sex toys are in fact totally unsexy. I'd make an exception for those $15000 love dolls that look and feel like an 18 year old Victoria's Secret model, and do absolutely anything uncomplainingly.

This town's full of these old expat's who were probably quite normal before they came to Thailand, suddenly something snaps, they start drinking around the clock, drink driving, whoring, driving a variety of vehicle, bikes, trikes, tuk tuks, quads, all without a helmet, or big pick up trucks. Just stay out of their way, many end up killing themselves in smashes which is sad, but not as tragic as when an innocent party gets in the way.

What sane woman would let a stepfather into a young girl's life? It's total wild card, and so many of them have dark ulterior motives.

Grilling monks? I thought the dark days of the reformation, counter reformation, and grisly martyrdom were 400 years behind us.

I too am surprised that it isn't road deaths as number 1.
It is, by far. This is just another example of careless shoddy reporting, by people who don't know much, and want to get back to checking their Facebook anyway.

There would be no end of the pain I would inflict on this low live Chinaman. Please, him and me and a small room.
Surely one of the day's more comical comment. 'I am pain', 'yes I'm sure you are'. 'There there, you have a nice lie down, someone will get you a nice cup of tea.'

Oh well, and that little kid when he is killed, and hundreds of others like him older and younger, might think in retrospect if they could, 'Oh how I wish those laws HAD been applied, then I too might have had a chance at LIFE'
