Does anyone on the Forum is suffering from Psoriasis
Wuvu2 replied to Mika78's topic in Health and Medicine
I've had psoriasis for 40 years and recently discovered Daivonex (without cortisone) and Daivobet (with cortisone) which worked great. The base is a synthetic vitamin D. I use the one with cortisone if it's a bad itchy flare-up - which is usually solved with one application. I use the one without cortisone at the first sign of a patch, and seems to prevent flareups well. These are expensive for ointments (800b/tube) but work much better than anything I've ever used. -

Quit smokin weed? I got a pretty good idea how that turns out 😆 -
Rouble trouble: Russian woman fined for assaulting pregnant Thai
Wuvu2 replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
So kicking a pregnant woman brings less of a punishment than riding a motorbike without a helmet? That's absurd- 130 replies

I gotta think he did something either very suspicious or very confrontational to get pulled out of a taxi and searched at a roadside down to a single pill. I doubt this is just overzealous cops at a check point, or a trend in Thailand 😉

Reason why cannabis is going to be banned again
Wuvu2 replied to Jayaroi's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
True for sure, but even more important is that they haven't figured out how to tax it. -

Power Bank Explosion Causes Panic on AirAsia Flight
Wuvu2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Really??? Oxygen masks are for cabin depressurization situations so people don't pass out. Adding oxygen to a fire would probably lead to an explosion 😉- 111 replies

Thailand’s sugar intake quadruples WHO daily limit causing health concerns
Wuvu2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Only quadruple WHO standards? I doubt that very much 😉 -
The underpaid overworked delivery driver is just covering his ass with the company. I complained once and the driver was docked 300b. He explained his situation and asked me to revoke my complaint so he could get the 300b back. For the most part, I'd say the delivery companies do a pretty great job 😄

Thailand in Crisis: Population plummets by 500k in 4 Years
Wuvu2 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Without foreign visitors during covid, there were no pregnant bar girls. 500k seems about right 😆 -
To be honest, I can't believe half the stuff that comes out of my own mouth 😆

Can I take ten joints in a domestic flight?
Wuvu2 replied to CartagenaWarlock's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
You'll be staying Koh Samui at least overnight no? Ten joints would be packing way too light for me. You're allowed 7kg in your carry-on baggage alone 😆 -

Sarcasm refers to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say, especially in order to insult someone, or to show irritation, or just to be funny. -
TikTok user exposes taxi overcharge in Bangkok, fare hits 105 baht (video)
Wuvu2 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
The driver probably said - "yeah sorry, meter broken. How about 50 baht?" Thank god for social media. Otherwise, these heinous crimes might go untold -
How many of us remember backpacking across Asia in our youth? I was young once stretching my tiny budget to explore as much of the world as I could. It changed me into a global thinker and inspired me to try to do good as an adult. This woman didn't steal anything and was probably really grateful for the kindness. It will be another 25 years before anyone can really judge if this woman was a loser - or a wandering saint

Unauthorized Cannabis Sellers Arrested in Pattaya
Wuvu2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Seems to me that "their own cause" is simply being poor. -
I somehow feel obligated to read every "news" story about changing marijuana regulation, but there is zero chance the government will be able to wrap its arms around marijuana use again. There is a need for some regulation of the cannabis industry, but we consumers will always have easy access to weed. Party on Garth

Jomtien Immigration improved backwards
Wuvu2 replied to Kinok Farang's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The online applications are processed by human beings, and two years ago was mid covid so not as many of us applied. I set a reminder and do it 13 days before the due date. It has always come back within a couple of days.
