  1. I've been here for years and have always avoided sexual contact with foreigners ????
  2. Ya, perhaps I've been smoking a bit too much of the paranoia strain that seems popular with forum posters ????
  3. Facebook marketplace seems to have eliminated a lot of search terms that showed weed for sale. There were hundreds of listings until yesterday for สมุนไพร (herb in Thai) now returning zero listings. It takes a freight train to move Facebook - I think this must have been requested by the Thai government.
  4. When they decriminalized weed they forgot the highest priority of every government - taxation! Whatever solution they finally come up with we can bet the government will have it's fingers deep in the pie with heavy licensing fees and plentiful layers of taxes ????
  5. Does anyone know where to see videos of brick weed being grown and processed in Thailand or Lao? Thanks in advance.
  6. This happens ever couple of years during rainy season. A few years ago 11 elephants were lost in one incident. The horrific thing is that it's a man made tragedy. There is a staircase trail for people to get below the waterfall. Unfortunately the rails are not elephant sized, so the elephants can no longer use that trail. The elephants have died trying to find another path to traverse the waterfall.
  7. Unfortunately weed is not a cure for stupidity. Making it compulsory would not solve the overwhelming problem in expat forums ????
  8. "Credibility" in a expat's social media forum?? That's incredibly rich. Everybody knows the only credible source of information is Fox news ????
  9. I recommend Granddaddy Purple - it's one of the most highly rated strains for chilling out and relaxing ????
  10. Hey wbmjc, Just a suggestion - you might get an admin to change the title to something like "Cannabis Buyers Reports" and make it a sticky. Great thread - except for the short hissy fits between posters ???? Thanks!
  11. I think the RTP are set up for a huge windfall - not an enormous loss of revenue. First is all the income from security services for the growing and distributing facilities. Next they can resell all the weed they capture coming across the Mekong every night, and there's no reason the RTP can't eventually have their own brands and retail outlets. The police are the biggest weed dealers in Cambodia. I'm sure the RTP will think of many other ways to cash in on the pot craze here. Could weed replace corruption as a key source of income for the RTP? Na that's just too crazy ????
  12. If the law was clear and truly unrestricted CP and other large corporations would be selling buds in 7-11 already. As soon as things get clarified I'd expect big corporations to dominate the mainstream bud market. It would be nice to see small shops selling artisan buds from small scale producers. The best would be weekly farmers markets where growers sell their weed directly. I hope somebody's organizing that already.
  13. OMG - I even answered him directly and precisely. What is the problem? READING the response is as important as asking ????

US 13 Wide here - I've tried every supplier on Lazada without success. I occasionally see a unicorn in a store but have not found a consistent supply. The best solution I've found is ordering from Amazon in the USA and using a Thai forwarding company that includes a flat fee Thai customs tax. These US/Thai forwarders charge about 800 baht per kilo for Air shipping delivered to your door with no additional customs fees. They also do a similar service using slower sea shipment at about 350 baht/kilo. Air shipping saves me almost $50/pair vs standard Thai customs via mail. I use this one in Oregon state which doesn't have a state sales tax (saves another 8% over shipper with a California warehouse). There are several other similar Thai/US companies in Oregon and a bunch more in other states. https://www.facebook.com/WeShippingUSA
  15. 1. As motioned by chickenslegs and The Hammer; an IDP might not be needed so lookup the requirements for exactly where you want to drive. I searched google for "Can I use my Thai drivers license in California". 2. If an IDP is required Upnotover provided the link to DLT link https://www.dlt.go.th/en/international-driving-licence/ That's it ????
  16. I saw the Rolling Stones on their "Final Tours" in 1986 and 1988. The "Grateful Dead" have been touring for 25 years after the death of Jerry Garcia. Instead of retiring these mega brands they seem to slowly replace musicians until the logo is the last remaining member of the band ????
  17. My drivers license from my home country has expired, so my Thai driver's license is my only valid license. How do I get an international Driving Permit based on my Thai license? I'm in Jomtien.
  18. There are thousands of those gold and orange kilos for sale on Facebook. "Night Fishing" just became a windfall income stream for the Boys in Brown ????
  19. I took my first international flight in 1963. There was turbulence. Does anybody care?
  20. The RTP are going to make so much money by protecting big growers and weed warehouses they really won't need to shakedown tourists - except for sport of course ????
  21. Well you could check out either of the existing threads which have dozens of buyer reports.
