  1. You seem to be in the know. What about the directors or actors nationality. Maybe the cultural content or aesthetic feel of a film on how it is perceived. Need all American origin? Who certify the country of origin? Ya, it is a brain fart moment from a retard.
  2. I will love to see that rare occasion. Crude oil blow up can creat quite a blaze and pollution.
  3. Another brain fart moment by Trump. Film industry is a sizeable trade surplus for US and movies are licensed and distributed on borderless cloud infrastructure. Trump is mentally retarded.
  4. Those data really doesn't matter. Both countries will suffer from Trump inflicted economic catastrophe with the rest the world.
  5. A numbnut rant that shark attacks are what's wrong with battery electric ship.
  6. Summarising his next 100 days. Economic instabilty, democratic erosion and growing resistance from civil society, universities and bipartisan legal challenge. His big beautiful bill will not pass and the Ukraine war will not end. US international image will continue to decline and a new world order will be less American. US will lose dollar reserve currency status. In short, Trump and his project 2025 will destroy USA.
  7. Those stupids likely to be Maga imbeciles who cling on to his words as though they are gospel.
  8. Zelensky got the security guarantee. No payoff if Russia occupy Ukraine. Trump has got the agreement to gloat and nothing else nor bother.
  9. Trump got outsmarted by Zelensky. He got immediate military aid while the rare earth is a questionable possibility that may or may not be fulfilled in an unknown future.
  10. I will give him credit for his hardline, zero-tolerance approach to border enforcement with little regard for the physical, mental consequences to those affected and the economic costs to the country.
  11. Everything spoken by Trump and his hand-picked officials need to be fact checked. Most times they lie or are alternative facts.
  12. Student visa revocation happened all the time. In 2024 there were multiple reports of between 300-1,000 of student visa revocations. It is the arbitary and opague manner of Trump's administration in which the data-base of foreign students were flagged for revocation that is the issue. By the way, foreign students have to pay their own costs for attorneys. Attorneys representing some students that were flagged by the data-base have shown that they have done nothing wrong or some minor interactions with police like traffic violations or even charges that were never brought or later dropped could be enough to land foreign students on the data-base. Some have no police interaction in their time in US. Some has no arrests and no immigration encounters. This doesn't follow due process or a chance to explain. This is authoritarianism and abuse of judicial process and lead to lawlessness.
  13. Looks like another U-turn typical of Trump’s arbitrary action. https://thepienews.com/trump-administration-reverses-termination-of-student-visas/
  14. The students should have their day in court and not have their visa revoked by altering the SEVIS data-base. Thought this is a law and order administration.
  15. The problem is that Trump’s administration action is arbitrary, opaque and potentially unlawful. Judges are issuing emergency orders to stop the operation. This smacks of an authoritarian type of policy.
  16. The fear of the being targeted for vague, minor infraction and some with no reason brought fear to foreign students who will rather go elsewhere than US. It is an economic cost to US with policy that is unclear, without warning and no due process.
  17. $44 billion economic impact Higher education is America’s 10th-largest export. More trade deficit. Great job Trump with another leg down on the economy. Foreign students are staying home and will not come back.
  18. More half the populace slag him. I guess you on the other minority side.
  19. Trump siding with the principal adversary is a betrayal. His transactional pressure on Nato in the midst of the Ukraine war is a betrayal; perhaps to embolden Putin in his quest.
  20. They came to US aid after 9-11 and deploying troops and resources in US-led Afghanistan war. Passive?????
  21. Nato was created by USA and other western allies to provide collective security against the the Soviet Union. Europe didn't drop the ball. It was a USA or rather Trump betrayal of the Nato doctrine. The betrayal has woken up Nato countries to step up.
  22. UKraine will not become Russia's buffer zone. A Ruusian proposal for buffer zone in Kharkiv region but even that is rejected by Ukraine. The idea of a buffer zone is seen as an attempt by Russia to bide their time for another escalation. Today Ukraine is not the same as 3 years ago at the start of the Russian invasion. Ukraine now has the second largest military in Europe and has narrow the gap with Russia through asymmetric warfare likje drones and robotics. They can continue to resist and even conduct cross border operations. They can do a lot more damage to Russia infrastructures if they are pushed to the brim. Ukraine will be around much longer than Putin.
  23. IMO, the only way to prevent another Russia invasion is deterrent. Match Russia conventional military might. It will mean Ukraine will have to improve its military capacity and Nato membership. Nato countries will also have to increase their military strengths without the need to depend on USA. Appeasement with Russia will be the worst possible policy for both UKraine and Russia.
