  1. Sobering to read that states designed their education system to curtail, cancel or influence young minds to suit their political agenda.
  2. It was possible at the early stage but his handling of the covid-19 pandemic has badly damaged his image to be prime minister. He is blamed for the mismanagement which triggered lockdowns and affected and ruined many people and businesses. The public called for his resignation. The Mor Mai Thong of doctors launched a petition for his resignation which received a quarter of million signatures. The polls for suitable prime minister don't even registered any percentage for him and low percentage for his party. He is a liability to his party. I álso dont see his party doing well next election and may see them with tail behind their legs to re-join the PTP coalition.
  3. Just simply appalled that the Prime Minister gave such a low quality rebuttal of a weighty technical subject. He is at his usual cavalier off-the-cuff style and General demeanour. He really has not learned and adjusted himself to be a politician. A golden opportunity to show charts and explain that core inflation due to energy and commodities beyond his control while food like pork and vegetables are cyclical and recent price increases due to the twin year end major festivities. He could even bring out government intervention on pork hoarding. No mention of what he can do in terms of fiscal measures and on government subsidies. He just don't have the acument and competency to be a politician and yet he is the Prime Minister. ????
  4. To his credit, he is the only one from his party criticizing the government from the beginning even though his party is part of Prayut's coalition. He even criticized his party of timidly conforming and kowtowing the Prayut and his administration. It was reported that he asked his party executive board before they joined the coalition whether they will support Prayut to be premier or not and party said no but changed their mind later. He resigned as party leader but remained as MP until yesterday. It is a suprise but not a shock. I respect him that he has been steadfast on his principle and integrity.
