  10. I know of a man that owns a bar that charges 100 baht . Nothing to feast your eyes on either . He now and then will say come and have a beer but at 100 baht I am reluctant to bite . However it is satisfying to sit and have people to talk with and that is hard to put a price on .
  11. Could be said Elon . I will buy from makro from now on . Return the empties in the box and I will have a total saving of 9 baht per bottle . Based on my average consumption I can make a saving of 900 baht each month
  12. You assume correctly . Must I assume that you mean if I was a Ukrainian I would not say the same? Shallow
  13. I have worked with many Russians and met a small number of individuals here in Thailand . I find them aloof . I respect them for the fact that they sacrificed millions of lives to allow us the freedom I have had through my 69 years of life .
  14. Total living area 280 square meters , presently working on 100 square meter addition . I would like to have a pool yes , but the extra in rent required i believe would not be easy to recover having a pool . Only real benefit would make rental more attractive Rubbish is often recyclable i may add
  15. My father came to visit me while living in Norway . I was under the false impression that all alcohol must be bought at the government run shop called the vinmonopol I purchased the only beer they had which was called elephant beer . My father after having tried a few of the beers asked if i had more elephant beer . Sure i have more i said . Good as it has hell of a kick to it he replied . Elephant beer is around 8 percent and that is why it is sold in the government alcohol outlet as i found out later .

  20. All the small shops were charging 55 baht in my area until yesterday with the exception of one new shop with tiles on the floor was charging 56 . My complaint is not with the shops but with the beverage companies protection from the government .
