If it goes up more I think it would be sensible to do so. At the moment I'm driving everywhere as I want to go out and drive. Pilok is next on the list to get some nice twisty roads in.

If it saves me something decent I'd be happy to try the b20, but there's zero incentive to use it at the moment. That's why I'm a bit confused with its current price when it used to be cheaper.

5 baht more? Ouch. That's an extra 400 to fill my tank. I was hoping switching to diesel was going to save me money.
-
Excellent, thank you. I'll be interested to see what we'll be paying after that. I bought a diesel last month and using b7 at the moment as its the same price as b10/20. I really do wonder who would be buying b20 at the moment when it's the same price as b7.
-
Does anyone know how long the diesel prices will stay at the current rate? I understand that money was lost as they kept the price lower than market value, but how long are we looking at now before we get market rates again? I can't find anything in English anywhere.

Phetchabun Immigration office has moved !
alien365 replied to CharlieH's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Not in the same area but Nakhon Pathom Immigration has also moved. A quick Google maps search will reveal the new location. -
I can see why you posted this into the pub forum. All you're doing is trying to make people feel embarrassed for not wearing a mask when there is no longer a government mandate to do so. Yes covid is still around and many still catch it, but it is no longer the monster it once was. If you want to wear a mask, wear one. I do myself occasionally, but there's no way I'm changing my habits unless it becomes serious again.
-
I know many who want to demask, but are worried about how others judge them. Your attitude just adds more pressure for the never-ending wearing of masks. Covid has been downgraded in severity and you are now overreacting.

What low/medium price wine do you recommend.
alien365 replied to YorkshireTyke's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
19 crimes is my wine of choice for 600. The cabarnet is nicer to drink than the Shiraz in my opinion. I had it in the UK this year in a 3 for 18 deal I think. My next choice would be the McGuigans black at 500. -
I got my mid-sized tattoo on my upper back about 15 years ago and still like it. I'd like another couple on the shoulders but I've got more important things to be spending my money on. Regarding pain, for about 2 hours or so it was nothing, I mean nothing. As I was approaching the 4th hour mark though it became very painful. It could have been due to the time or that it was filling (more needles) on/around the spine.

What do I need for the bed of my pickup?

We'll have to wait and see. If the truck isn't comfy enough for her there's a possibility... -
What do I need for the bed of my pickup?
alien365 replied to alien365's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I was initially looking at something like this that can be locked and secured but then the tonneau cover can't be used with it. If I could switch them relatively easy I'd do that. I was also considering adding some weight, but I'll see what it's like on my local roads and highways first. I had a test drive for a kilometre or so and it felt pretty smooth, but if it gets bumpy some sand may be needed in the back. Then there would also be a problem with buying that box as the sand needs to go closest to the cab for stability. -
What do I need for the bed of my pickup?

I checked the pickup parked next to me today to see what they had in the back of their truck. All I saw was about 10 loose empty bottles of beer in the back and an umbrella. How some can just drive around like that I have no idea. -

Does water ever get inside? And do you think they are thick enough to stop the neighbourhood cats from putting holes in them? -
What do I need for the bed of my pickup?
alien365 replied to alien365's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
I'm getting that as part of the purchase thankfully. I assume that is a must also. -
I'm buying my first pickup (4-door) this week and wondering what I need for the back. I see tonneau covers here seem to be cheap velcro things or very expensive electrical ones. I thought about a 250l box that sits in the bed but then the cover can't be used (according to Lazada sellers). There's nets, bungee chords, s-snap hooks. I'm not really sure where to start. I'd like to pop the shopping in the back, a few 20kg boxes of water, luggage when picking family up from the airport, and sand/soil/gravel when needed. Naturally I'd like things to stay dry, safe and secure. What do you guys use to do all these random jobs? Will I need all of them?

Fake Gillette razor blades SCAM on most online stores Now! !@#$%
alien365 replied to WaveHunter's topic in General Topics
I bought a Philips one from the UK and it only lasted about a year. I expected much more. I stopped using mach 3 due to the price and fakes too. I then changed to a shavette, and then to a straight razor to stop with the waste of all those single use blades. I love my straight razors but you need time to shave and it's definitely not saved me money over the last few years. -
I tried to edit my post but did it wrong. The video was not from Salaya. Homepro is past the big sorting office Bridge, not this close.

It wasn't there in 2011. I've only been here since 2012 and I remember it being built. They closed the main road a few days back due to the flooding from the river so it must have been around that time.

Alcohol sales ban for end of Buddhist Lent Day on Monday, October 10th
alien365 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I guess I'll be eating at home today then. No point going to a restaurant after work if I'm not allowed to have a refreshing beer with it. -
Well I wish the OP well. If he's not happy in the relationship then he shouldn't stay in it for the rest of his life. Better for him and her. My wife is rather the opposite. She wants to discuss everything, and like another poster said, women like that don't let things go. It's like a competition. Most of her friends also have PhD's from western universities and are single, voicing that men are intimidated by them. If I do move on in the future, I'd probably prefer to stay single, and therefore free.
