  1. I remember a thread a few years ago on road safety that worked exactly like this one. The enlightened OP went in length to say his piece and attacked anyone else who responded as being uneducated. I don't see the point in opening a thread if one is unwilling to hear others viewpoints.
  2. He didn't exactly stay silent then did he. He could have easily taken the higher ground but chose to aggravate the drunkards further.
  3. The raw beef (like soiju) near me is fantastic and it's less than 200 baht. That with some beer woon, I'm in heaven!
  4. Excellent job. Assaulting multiple people then running at the police with an axe, the end result was deserved in my opinion.
  5. I think that the printed sign twice states 'Do not remove this sign' speaks volumes.
  6. This must have certaintly played a part in the road rage. Sure he didn't deserve to die for it, but he rose the stakes, not thinking about his family of four children that he had to provide for. He should have just let the crazy angry man go, not make him angrier.
  7. I find driving during the day more dangerous as the roads are more congested and you have a huge difference in speeds and urgency of the drivers.
  8. I assume he held his face for the cameras, he's innocent you know, like a footballer rolling on the ground crying for a foul. The boyfriend could also have ended up having to pay out because of this. I'm not sure what happened before he attacked her, but If she did nothing wrong at all, I agree she should be compensated by this lowlife.
  9. Considering how much of a weakling he appears, he'd have been better spitting on him than embarrassing himself with that so called 'move'.
  10. For me, what's strange is when I order food and they bring my warm rice, then it sits going cold for 15 minutes before they bring the rest of the food I ordered.
  11. It depends on my mood but the go to action movies are John Wick/ Jack Reacher/LOTR/Maverick. For something more chilled the Big Lebowski. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is one of my favourite films, but I can't watch it that much anymore as I need to be high to get the best experience.
  12. He is really lucky that the drivers showed restraint or simply didn't know how to fight. He was so incredibly slow himself that anyone with a half decent jab or hook could down this manchild.
  13. Yep. Slightly different, but there's a bar in my area (Nakhon Pathom) that appears to require ID from everyone at the door as proof of age. I went with two 60+ year olds and ID was required. We turned away and went somewhere else. Okay they only missed out on about 1,000 baht that night, but by never returning and spending our money elsewhere, it adds up.
  14. To be fair, from the video, the red light wasn't the clearest. I once went straight through a red at night on an unfamiliar road. The lights were similar to in this video, but with 18 wheelers on the inside of me, there was no way of me seeing the light until I'd already driven through.
  15. It was like watching a movie scene watching them approach one by one. He needed lynching after dropping the first guy.
  16. And here lies the problem. He is not sorry at all. Like many here, he uses the excuse of having no money to avoid accountability. He wont feel sorry until he's on TV being shamed in front of the country.
  17. There are lots of female students with hairy arms and legs. Many just don't see anything wrong with it. The ladyboys are more likely to shave to make themselves appear less like a man
  18. It's always gridlock anyway. To drive 60 would be a dream on the roads I take
  19. I had it ages ago in a champagne style bottle. It reminds me a bit of Carling Premier, very smooth, but no real taste (it has more taste than premier, but it's not much). I also tried the Leo supreme, which was a bit more refined than the original, but I didn't like the aftertaste. Night hunter IPA on the other hand is very nice. They also have a golden beer, but the IPA is way better IMO. Each to their own though.
  20. Glad to see that the elephant gave zero ducks about the firing. In my mind, this guy is a danger to society being so trigger happy. He faced zero threat from the elephant and he pulls a gun out. Scary

    Bangkok parks

I went there on Sunday, entered in gate 6. The price was 90 baht in total for the two of us and the car. The price was clearly stated on the sign before the roundabout (20 baht per person and 50 baht per car) I have a feeling that they likely added such a fee because of the event that was taking place that weekend. Would I go again? Not if it is as busy as that day. The park looked nice, but the parking was incredibly difficult due to the number of people there. It took about half an hour to park.
  22. Did you have your indicator on? (I don't have sound on your video for some reason). I find at big traffic lights it works quite well in my area. It's common practice if the road is wide enough to accommodate. In your situation it was reducing to one lane so it obviously doesn't help anyone.
  23. I don't bribe police officers as I generally follow the law. The snitch who recorded it is doing herself no favours. If they break the law in future, they will have their bike sent to the police station for processing and have to go through more hassle and wasted time.
  24. The problem with short time is knowing how many men they've been with, maybe even within the same day. I'm really not comfortable with going down on a woman like that and a condom is a must.
  25. As a Brit, I really look forward to seeing him swallow his pride and apologizing, but I don't believe it's in his nature.
