  1. Will this cover riding a bike without a helmet, license, or while drunk? Rabies injections after dog/monkey bites?
  2. To mark return to sender is bang out of line. I assume through the app you could follow the driver/rider's name. Keep an eye out for his name on the app and have words.
  3. I was expecting you to respond with your username. You can keep believing that China is whiter than white.
  4. Trump got voted into power through democracy. He got kicked out through democracy. The UK left the EU due to democracy. Democracy sometimes goes the way that we want or against. Im not sure if I have more freedoms here (a democratic country) than the UK, but either way, we are not living in China.
  5. Exactly. And in democratic countries that happens. The unions in China appear to be unions in name only.
  6. Just to point out my comment was also to highlight that science isn't everything. I accept the science and believe the EV cars are becoming a lot safer, I just chose not to buy one last year as it wasn't right for me. I also should accept that protectionism is a valid issue people have, not me, with buying EVs. My personal feelings got lost in that point.
  7. Which is what I said in my original post (relating to the recent bill signed in the US to help combat this). I won't be buying another car for about 10 years now as I bought a pick up last year (I needed something I can put some weight in the back), but the next will be an EV or whatever the technology dictates at the time. My home country (the UK) doesn't have a car industry anymore, but I'd rather support industry in a democratic country that pays it's staff proper wages, workers have rights and speech is not aggressively suppressed. China's recent takeover of Hong Kong, eagerness to control Taiwan, along with their aggressive stance in the South China Sea doesn't sit right with me. Still people like @JBChiangRai assume they know how I form my opinion and label it nonsense and @Gweiloman jumps to racism and protectionism. You can support the overreliance on China if you like, but I'd rather reduce, not eliminate, mine.
  8. Just to note I read today that from the new year Thailand will be producing euro 5 diesel at their refineries. Shell already provide euro 5 in both formulas within the country.
  9. By changing out to in she joked about giving it to you up the ass. Pegging is a woman using a strap on with the man. So DILF I guess could be dildo/d#ck I'd like to <deleted>, rather than the usual mum I'd like to...
  10. What is the gift for? Are you wanting to be/already in a relationship with her? What are her interests? What does she talk a lot about? What does she look like she needs (things looking too dated/used), what's your budget?
  11. Nothing major, just some mobile phone cases, macademia, a lamp, a cat statue, and some secateurs. It's more about having something under the tree to open than the value.
  12. The UK and Germany both abstained. I believe they did so to avoid riots in their own countries. They are running scared of the immigrants they let in while burying their heads in the sand to any sensible criticism.
  13. One of the best feelings a man can have. My main sport is table tennis and I've had it a few times too. You feel every ball like a pro, you see the spin on the ball, you know what your opponent is doing before they do, you have so much time to play your shots, you can play hard consistently or play the gentlest of touches, all the while being perfectly relaxed. Then the next day its back to nets and edges and blaming the ball and my equipment again 🤣

    the wai

I wai but I can't tell you how often or when. It just comes naturally. Sometimes I return a wai, other times I initiate it. I had a funny moment a few days ago as a lady I see every week gave me a big wai while bowing. She then looked very embarrassed and whispered to the guy next to her. He then told me my zip was down. I don't think she'll be bowing that low next time lol.
  15. I thought it may have been different here so I went to the driving range a year or so ago to try and hit some balls again. After a few hits I was told by the owner to go up to the second level because I was not very good. I told him I am not moving. Finished my 80 balls (I think) and then never returned again. I play many sports so it's not the end of the world, but it's a shame.
  16. For me the main problem with EVs is the reliance on China. I believe Biden signed the inflation reduction act recently which will hopefully help reduce the reliance on China in the EV supply chain. That's a step in the right direction at least.
  17. My 1 year old Ranger can easily do 1,000km on a tank if highway driving. Its more comfortable than my previous car. For city driving though, forget it. Regarding stopping, I personally don't like stopping until I have to. Once you stop, all those cars you've had to pass get ahead of you again. Still, once concentration starts dwindling on a long drive, I will take a break (usually around 3-400km) as a matter of safety.
  18. I think the word hate is probably used inaccurately for many. Im guessing those who don't like golf (like me) are not very good at it and the game therefore stresses a person out. It shouldn't be difficult to hit the ball straight, but it is. Same applies for putting a ball in a hole from a meter or so away. The game makes me feel stupid. Others laughed at me or were constantly shaking their heads, so I stopped trying to play properly due to actual golfers too.
  19. I've had two accidents here and both involved being hit from behind when the lights had turned red. The first was a high school kid riding a bike who was too busy talking to his mates on the back of his bike. I saw him in my mirrors but there's nothing I could do when I wasn't first at the light. The second was a lady in a Teana. My dashcam showed she was looking at her phone. I'll await being called a racist now, that I don't know the road rules, that I must be wrong for getting annoyed by these incidents, and that I'm victim blaming for sharing my anecdotal experience from the latest troll. Oh yes I forgot, something about boats...
  20. Pre-covid some wore masks for the pollution or if they had a cold, but in my experience it was a maximum of 10%. Now it's about 60% wearing them. The girls I speak to say they also wear them if they have a spot/pimples now or so they don't have to put makeup on.
  21. I was in the same situation as you with Ford. I tried to add an excess and named drivers to reduce the 20+k premium. I'm now back to Roojai (that's who I used on my previous car) and pay 10k. You can choose to use the dealer repair service, but that will be an extra few thousand a year. Not worth it in my opinion though as I've only made one small claim in 10 years here. That would have been an extra 20-30k premium during that period for the luxury to use them once.
  22. I've come to the conclusion that they are too flat and not suited to my taste. The weizen was foul, tasted of chemicals and got thrown down the sink. The dunkel was flat. The lager is flat and has a lingering aftertaste that doesn't agree with me. It left me and my Thai friends with bad hangovers too. The rose is a girly drink that effectively tastes of sugar and also gave a bad hangover. I won't be drinking any of them again.
  23. Other providers also have a premium diesel but Shell's is better and the most expensive due to the additives in their mixture. Importantly to me, it just feels nicer to drive. For the sake of a baht or two I'm happy with that trade off. If money were more important to me, I wouldn't have bought a Ranger.
  24. I think its plain for all to see that they are focusing on the wrong type of immigration. They should be cracking down on those with no genuine connection to the UK who cost the country an absolute fortune. For some reason though, those in power just seem to want to ruin our country.
