I do have a breaker between inverter and battery packs, so I can remove the load while switching batteries ........ and my normal DC load is 5-10A.

The BMS have a mind of their own and will switch on when they feel like it. I don't trust their software switches.

The elderly and mentally ill (possibly suffering from dementia) should be treated with care and compassion, not shot in their own homes. The FBI ruled this housebound guy a 'credible threat' to a Biden visit later that day. Blocking his driveway for the day would have been enough to removed any credible threat until Biden would have been out of his reach again. It's not as if Biden was going to drive past his house.

I think they should have waited patiently outside in the road after disconnecting his utils & blocking his cell.
