    Those who succeed are those that don't chuck large amounts of money at business/property/cars when they first come here. Rent everything, buy nothing (maybe a second hand car or new scooter) and don't invest in any business ventures your new girlfriend suggests, if a bank won't finance her 'ideas', neither should you.

    I've only sat in it as a passenger for 15 minutes so far. Definitely felt like a smoother ride than my 1997 Nissan pickup. Misses not allowed to drive it until she gets a driving license. Don't much like the windscreen clutter you get in all the modern cars. My kids new Toyota Altus (ICE) is worse though. Whatever happened to the day of big clear views out the front?

    Will disagree, the Chinese can't afford to reduce production, and Trumps tariff ideas will lead to a lot of unsold Chinese EVs in the US, and they'll dump them on the rest of the world. I predict a 30% price reduction in the next 2 years.

    Maybe reconsider the 'new' car. I just purchased a Neta V, 2 years old, 25k on the clock, 220kbht (still looks new). That's a 50% price drop in under 2 years. At that price, worth a punt even if the company has died.

    I've made several pals on AN, mostly dead now. Bit tired of my pals dying on me.

    Between the age of 55 and 64 I was trail running and cycling through the jungles around Chiang Mai nearly every day. Often got strange insect bites, some that lasted nearly two years. Didn't much like the leeches at higher altitudes.

    It's completely legal now, and still will be under the suggested new laws. Only for yourself though, you can't sell it.

    Yep, that's what happens to me as well. I've also had everything covered with aphids. If you grow anything regularly in one place they get covered. Guess that's why all the big outside/greenhouse growers use plenty of pesticides (even if they deny it).
