Started building a 48V 100Ah battery using 16 second hand Sinopoly 100AH batteries. 8 arrived slightly swollen, 8 to come. Found a teak box on Lazada that just about fits them for 170bht. Decided to use washers and 2.5mm wire loops in place of bus bars to save money, 3 loops = 16A x 6 = 96A. Enough room in the box to put the Daly BMS in with the batteries.

The first 8 (754bht each inc) are second hand (Lazada) and ALL slightly swollen. The next 8 (690bht each inc) are second hand (Facebook) ..... still to arrive. All Sinopoly 100Ah green. Already wired and boxed the first 8, waiting on the top row and the Daly BMS. Given up buying copper bars, 3 loops of 2.5mm (16A x 6= 96A) + a washer are much cheaper

I also have a minor bump today ......... Torrential rain all night and still going ........ battery ran out at 8am, so on grid now. Only half the cells for my new 48V 100AH battery have arrived, so nothing I can do but wait.

And it's still pouring down at 8:30am at MaeJo/SanSai, surprised there isn't any flooding. Bit of thunder and lightning in the distance. Never seen it like this before in dry season. At least it'll wash the smog away.

Except nobody has ever been taken to court for claiming to reside in the UK.

UK, normally you pay for an hour and they're trying to finish the job in 30 minutes. So a friend has told me. I remember the good old days in Thailand, where you paid for short-time, and they decided they liked your room, air-con and fridge so much more than their bug infested hovel, that they stayed all night, then went to breakfast with you next morning.

If I knew then what I know now .......... I'd have worked and been single in the UK, no dating, no cohabiting, no marrying. But I would have had plenty of 'beach and temple' holidays in Asia. I would have ended up happier, wealthier and with a million pound UK home.

I know loads of scumbags and really nice guys. The scumbags get loads of female action, even though they beat and cheat on them. The really nice guys are totally invisible to women ............. even though they have steady jobs, nice houses, savings and pensions. It's totally inexplicable!

So you get loads of guys looking for 'high quality' women posting in threads. Are you a 'High quality' man, how do you define your high qualities, and why do you think you deserve a 'high quality' woman. Is it a university education, wealth, dressing nicely that makes you 'high quality'. Can I be 'high quality' if I dress nicely wear polished black shoes, shirt and tie, jacket and long trousers ..... and work as a unqualified schoolteacher in the 3rd world. Am I 'high quality' if I've had less than 3 female sexual partners in my life? And what is a 'high quality' woman? University educated, half Chinese virgin from a rich family? I define myself as 'low quality', Sure I got the degrees, earned loads of money, live comfortably, but I'm a beer swilling, fat, bald old guy that never wears anything but a knock off Football shirt (Liverpool), shorts and flip flops. Don't care about museums, poetry, art, theatre and can't endure jazz.
