Warning Signs: The Looming Collapse of a Critical Ocean System

Agree, but if you really cared you'd be riding a bicycle or bike charged from your own solar. Motorcycles burn oil and make CO2. -

Why is it up to you to get it replaced? It's his boundary post too. -
Most western women stop having sex with their husbands within two years of marriage, then you come to a country where almost every female (and a lot of guys dressed as females) will have sex with you. It's not about excitement, youth or looks, it's about women forgetting why their husbands married them. And their men suddenly getting choices, other than digging an allotment.

Anyone that doesn't select staff for their fealty is a bloody fool! And if you really really need to employ someone you don't trust, better have the budget to watch them, and maybe have some criminal offences to blackmail them with if needed. It's how security forces/services across the entire world operate.

My GP sits in a chair all day talking, no science there. As for all the hospital equipment you mentioned, all operated by technicians, no doctors or scientists there. -

Warning Signs: The Looming Collapse of a Critical Ocean System

Yeah, but nobody says why ....... Low atmospheric Oxygen plus a sudden rise in sulphides makes me think sudden volcanic activity that might have been caused by large asteroid impact. Not burning coal and oil for heavy industries. -

I studied to be a scientist, then I realised scientists didn't get paid the sort of money I wanted to earn. When I asked the media (purely by accident) about a job they immediately offered to double my scientists wage, they didn't even have to think about it.. -

Sheryl is a nurse. As for your studies, yeah, I also wasted a lot of my time at university but i did learn as a scientist to always give the answers your employers wanted.. -

If you're trying to save money use their public ward. Advantages are, no requirement for a family member present 24/7. Was in one (not Bangkok) last year, public ward was no problem, take a smartphone with internet and headphones for entertainment. -

Same reason as the rest of us, it's cheap, no need to interact with any of the locals that don't sleep in your bed. -
Why do "little people" vote for their executioners?
BritManToo replied to swissie's topic in Political Soapbox
I don't give a flying one about the USA, your 'best system' gave you Trump and Biden. Democracy in the EU and UK has flooded our countries with Muslims, turned our police forces into government stormtroopers, removed our rights to free speech, removed housing from the reach of the workers and pensioners, and basically priced white folk out of their own countries.
