  1. He's an old guy, needs a bit of support when he bends down ........ Personally, can't see anything wrong in that video. I wouldn't have even thought about it without it being pointed out. It's a bit sad that the UK is a place where men are considered suspect for even touching their own children.
  2. They sell water with a picture of a cannabis leaf on the side of the bottle.
  3. You can buy a run down farmhouse (with a lot of land) in France for under $20,000. Before Brexit ended my right to live there, that was my plan B.
  4. Your choice, Thailand has plenty of 30yo women who would like to live with you and help raise your son. Back in your home country you'd be alone, whether you wanted to be or not.
  5. When I was working, I was paid a fortune, but had no free time to spend it. My lifestyle in Thailand on a pension, is better than I ever managed in the UK earning mega-bucks, and with a far more attractive woman in my bed every night. Sure, when I was 40 I would have liked a sailing boat to circle the world, too old for that now. In my 60s, I need/want less. My jet-setting days are over, no matter how much money I have.
  6. Housing, 9kbht/month to buy a 3 bed house with beautiful views in a quiet area. Women, 10kbht/month to have a much younger woman live with me and pretend to love me. Divorce, in the UK it cost me $1M, here almost nothing. Internet, 650bht/month and no threats for downloading torrents. Mobile phone charges, 1,500bht/year for 24/7 calls and internet. Gas, 350bht for a 15Kg LPG delivered to my home. Electricity, less than 300bht/month. Diesel, petrol a fraction of UK prices. All exceptionally good value compared to the UK.
  7. I would say entirely the opposite, It's those without wit that need to spend a lot of money to keep themselves occupied. I'm happy enough sitting around reading a book, listening to music with a beer in my hand. The books and music are all free (thanks internet), and I can't manage more than 3 beers in a day.
  8. Can't have American royalty (Bill) 'disgraced'. Anyone remember Chappaquiddick (Kennedy's)? It's interesting that in the UK it's always the patriarchal right wingers accused. And in the USA it's always the woke, 'new world order' leaders being accused.
  9. I don't think I'd know what to do with more than two!
  10. Speak for your own posts. I like it here and always say so.
  11. I prefer wine-coolers, with wine I always need to stir in a spoon of sugar to make it sweet enough.
  12. I ordered a few bags of Thai seeds on Facebook (around 150 seeds) Planted 3 trays of 25, and so many came up I don't know what to do with them. Just finished putting the last tray in their first pots. It's always the same, first nothing grows, then everything grows.
  13. I already spend less than I have coming in. Can't say there's anything more I really want.
  14. Don't think my worry depends on the country in which I live. Namely, falling apart but still being alive. My dad had severe heart problems for his last 7 years, couldn't do anything but sit in a chair. My Aunts/Uncles got dementia, couldn't remember their wives/family for their last 10-20 years. I can do without any of that. Here's better than back in the UK At least we don't need to worry about the price of heating our homes.
  15. Not entirely sure why Prince Andrew would be considered 'disgraced'. Accusations without court convictions mean nothing.
  16. Can't see any way for her to stop the 17 yo living with you. But the 7yo and the house may be a problem as you were never married.
  17. Not sure custody is a concern with a 17 year old. They can make their own choices where they live from age 15 up. As for the house, if you have proof of payment and were legally married, it's at least 50% yours. My advice, sit tight and do nothing. I have a 24yo daughter (former wife) and a 13yo daughter (village girl nobody wanted) given to me by their moms. Unless mom can make money from them, they don't appear to care that much where they live.
  18. I'm totally happy smoking Rama 9 Lao brick, and grow some Euro hybrids indoors (medical reasons). I also put a spoonful or two of sugar in my wine to make it taste better, wine snobs and weed snobs I avoid. Apparently banging a woman (your own age) you love is better than hiring a young woman with a killer body. Never seen much difference myself. I'm an expert in getting drunk, getting high and banging hookers. All on the cheap!
  19. I just sprinkle 2gm of ground weed on the cheese layer before cooking. Nothing else required.
  20. No limits on light outside in Thailand, so no need to top. Tall and skinny is how sativa grows naturally.
  21. Agree, but odd thing is you would think they would like a holiday in Thailand with free accommodation and a local guide. I would have jumped at the chance of a foreign trip to meet rellys where my only expense was tickets and entertainment. When I was in my 30s I did take an aging Auntie to Canada so she could see all her relatives one last time, and it was great. Guess our friends and relatives didn't like us that much.
  22. All the time, and all my dead friends. My parents were dead by the time I was 22, most of my other relatives dead by the time I was 45. Almost everyone I ever knew is dead, at 66 I'm surprised to be last man standing. Lucky i started a new family at 52, else it would all be pointless.
  23. This is how mine is looking .......... 15 plants along the side of my house.
  24. Depends what you think a grow tent is for ........... I think it's 1. to keep the plants hidden. 2. to hide the smell. 3. to keep the plants warm in a cold northern winter. 4. to control the light for photos. In Thailand I only need to control the light for photos, so mine is open during veg.
