    My house was built 8 years back by a KKN, all MCB. They also managed to build the house with the incoming live and neutral reversed. So not required by the PEA in Chiang Mai.

    I've got 2 packs of 2nd hand batteries powering my house, about 50,000bht worth. Not sure they were worthwhile. The main problem being the sellers always slip a few non-working batteries in your order. Wish I'd paid the money for new.

    They make aluminium 'wood effect' skirting now. Not expensive and completely bug proof. Had to replace some of mine with it after a similar termite attack.

    Seems to be a bit of a wimp. Could have easily taken the sword from her. Or just closed the door and called the police.

    The only document that counts in Thailand, is the stamp in your passport. Learning to look at the date on it is an important survival skill.

    Homelessness is always the fault of the current government. Doing nothing is not the right course of action. Stop spending money on aggression (disguised as defense), start spending money on your citizens. I could cure a western country of homelessness, given power for 6 months.

    So you're blaming current pensioners for the UK governments inability to manage the pension contributions we paid? If they're that short of money why not disband the armed forces, or quit NATO?

    I've encountered loads of women who lived to be in the bar. Many were too drunk to notice who they were with, as long as the drinks kept coming. Sure, some girls despised the customers, and themselves, and everyone else. Some AN posters despise everyone else as well ..... being unhappy is a way of life for many.

    And the 'family farm' ........ my woman has a farm near Lomsak to which she could retreat. Grow her own food, gather food growing wild, etc.
