  1. Hmmm, to easy and I'll just let it go. Have a ncie day :)
  2. Easy to read but not so easy to implement :)
  3. Do you have excess sugar in your diet? It is more dangerous than alcohol. Are you extremely healthy? Again, poor health is more dangerous. As for me I live a very healthy lifestyle and accept others don't. Having a drink or two is a pleasant experience on occasion and considering my health is not an issue. Definitely not going to preach to others and those that do usually have their own issues health issues. You're the exception I'm sure but just saying :)
  4. Easy to detox if you haven't reached the point of no repair which is rare. Just stop drinking and sometimes within 2 weeks all good but it can take months and even years in rare situations. The liver is an amazing organ and can repair itself to match a healthy non drinker's liver. Heavy drinkers usually are unhealthy regardless of alcohol and this distorts the hazards of drinking. Healthier activities but doubt mild drinking for a healthy individual is much of a concern. I just started drinking 1-2 times a week after 8 months of detox :) Know your body and adapt :)
  5. I wonder who has a bigger problem? The person that needs a drink or two or the person that can't accept that someone does?
  6. The trick, not an easy trick, is not taking it personally :) People beat you down because they are struggling personally and best to let it go. Easy talk but I find the walk a little difficult at times.
  7. There surely are but keypads seem to infect all but a few here and transform them into hostile warriors looking for a righteous cause they can hitchhike on to become unrighteous.
  8. Don't forget the the number one old man adage - the Thai baht is too strong! Live goes on and Thailand inevitably will adjust if needed. This has been the slowest domestic tourism season I have experienced in my local tourist town. Maybe Thais are adjusting to debt and not accumulating it as quickly as prior years. Debt is fun until it becomes a nightmare.
  9. I came to Thailand my first time at around that age. It is a dangerous place for the young and wild type. Intoxicating and and I was overwhelmed. I had never seen a beautiful woman before that wasn't a woman. I spent all night with her drinking and fantasizing. A nice bloke set me right and luckily he was persistent because I was determined to take her home and she had friends. RIP
  10. I'm surprised he isn't rambling on about how Europe will be paying for the cost of acquiring Greenland as he did with "The Wall". His argument is that it is for defense and Europe has a terrible record of defending themselves without US assistance. Why shouldn't Europe foot at least 50%. A little deranged but definitely Trump logic.
  11. Same basic story for me without the age gap. I have never cheated on her and travel alone often. Just don't have the desire and she is all I want. So many here in pathetic relationships and that is interesting. Location doesn't matter. I understand why they cheat and I would too.
  12. I wonder how much the channels make that are in the lower 95% in regards to views. Just watched a successful youtube channel. A couple that were teachers that decided a few years ago to quit and try to make a living from their channel. They are making about half of what they were making and they were saying most make very little from YouTube. In their case 12% of their income. THey have to hustle and put together multiple income streams ( coaching, merchandise sells, etc ). They seem happy but do they have a choice? I watched this same couple at an event last year and I was so glad I wasn't them. Their passion was now lost to getting good content for their viewers. Waking up and going to sleep trying to figure out how to get more viewers with interesting content isn't for me.
  13. If you want, I will have my wife call the dealership and see what part is needed and how to obtain it. I would need the dealership telephone number and your name. You could send a private message with the above info.
  14. That isn't an article as you keep stating -555. Depending on how you ask the search question you get different numbers. There was never an article as you keep repeating. You do understand how the US tax system works? I'll help :) Taxes in the US are local, federal, and State. Add what all three spend on welfare and it is nearly 2 trillion. I'm sure you will apologizing to the person you called dishonest :) No you won't because you are always right and everybody that disagrees is a fool. Here is an actual source with welfare spending by the US Government. Remember there are 3 levels. In 2021 it was 1.8 trillion and almost going up vertically on the graph. https://www.cato.org/cato-handbook-policymakers/cato-handbook-policymakers-9th-edition-2022/poverty-welfare#:~:text=Altogether%2C%20the%20federal%20government%20spends,totaled%20more%20than%20$30%20trillion.
  15. OK, where is this world data article -- 555
  16. Yes it was but you didn't include it. It is 1.8 trillion as you know this :) Could be correct but what article are you referring. Your original quote stated the source: Welfare Statistics in US 2025 | Key Facts - The World Data. THat is where I got the 1.8 trillion. I did further digging and the number does seem to be closer to 1.5 trillion. Regardless, don't you think the people that need welfare are worth the effort to eliminating the people that don't. THat's the issue with handouts to the needy, corrupt individuals abuse the system and in the end the people that truly need it suffer. Like I said clean it up and the even increase the benefits to the people that need it.
  17. Good life and you have a passion for racing which is what in a weird way might be the most important aspect of my daily life. I would be dead if it was motocross like yourself but I realised 10 years ago that anything involving speed always for me ended in a world of searing pain and shattered bones. So many just fall into a rut of despair and anger because they have no passion that keeps them focussed. A wandering mind with zero restraint is usually an evil mind and as evident on this forum, the evil is in the name of good.
  18. That isn't how rounding works :) From the the site you quoted states 1.8 trillion so using rounding as you did that would be 2 trillion. You might have, by mistake I assume, not included SNAP ( food stamp, etc ). Hey, I think most welfare is a good thing but also don't ignore that it is a mess that needs to be cleaned up. I really don't give a rat's arse who does the cleaning. Government Spending: Total spending on welfare programs across all government levels is roughly $1.8 trillion annually, with significant federal investment in Social Security, Medicaid, and SNAP. You nor I know how much waste but only one way to find out. Many Americans would be OK with the 2 trillion if fewer people received it and more of the actual people that need it received it. It seems to be trap that keeps too many complacent at best and corrupt at worse. Sad that many need more assistance but can't get it because of the waste.
  19. Cannabis use exploded the last decade and now society knows that it isn't this wonder drug with no consequences as many of us users know. If you lack self control and motivation it can be worse than alcohol IMO. Too bad Thailand can't rewind and roll out a more conservative distribution. Only in certain areas with a limited number of shops. Still would have been affordable and wouldn't be as offensive to some. I use but not in public areas because it upsets many to most people around.
  20. How often do you go home? I can't afford a home in the US and here but wish I could. Retired at 41 and sacrificed having the financial freedom you have. Still think it was a great choice but it would be nice to be able to go back to a home once a or twice a year.
  21. Unless you like balconies. I had a condo with an incredible sea view with the highest rail slightly blocking the view. I just constructed higher furniture but the wife nailed her head on the ceiling fan blade while sitting up. Could have killed her. Would have much more money if it had. THink this guy knew what he was doing and figured 86 was a good age to die. Higher railings aren't going to stop jumpers or murderers.
  22. As you stated, it is a difficult question. 20 minutes would have been easier I think. 3 minutes is too long for many, like the first time I jumped from a high cliff into a stream and to short for many others. Many above have commented on sex, but a 3 minute or less orgasm(s) I don't find memorable and would probably be quite embarrassing, albeit it an efficient use of time. I can't think of any 3 minutes things that were worth remembering...
  23. I like to sit and enjoy the view and been at many places that you need to stand up which almost defeats the reason to have a view.
  24. She will be applying for a tourist visa. Thanks for the info.
  25. Not unless I registered the marriage which is a hassle but someday we will do it. Have a retirement visa so not a concern.
