1. I worked out why they don't make plug-in 3 phase RCCBs. The main Plug-in box breaker can be a MCB or RCCB. 2. Question for @Crossyor anyone please. You said I can't replace a 3 phase RCCB with 3 single phase units; can you explain please? My 3 phase instant heater has no neutral and uses 2 phases on low heater power and 3 phases on full heater power. If each single phase RCCB has an active and neutral, and neutral tied to the CU neutral buz, won't the phase current of that breaker be the same unless an earth fault? Sorry for the trouble.

Update: I contacted Lazada by phone (after not being able to work it out with the supplier). Lazada said they were probably expecting 2 boxes returned not both in the same box, so only refunded for 1. Even though seller said received 2 units in 1 box. Lazada will refund for the other unit as well. All good.

Back in 'the good old days', my wife got her licence to drive, then did the driving test to get her licence. :) Seems, insurance wise, you need a licence to drive a vehicle. So if she had an accident while learning to drive she would not be covered. So she aquired a licence first. Love Thailand.

Hi, sorry, not correct. I didn't knowingly cancel. I followed the instructions. I think the problem was, that when I ordered I couldn't click 2 in the order quantity, so I ordered 1 then another, but when I sent them back I clicked 2 OK. Anyway I stuffed up.

I would love to but I can't see there are any.
-
Right. I tried to buy 2 with the correct connectors but that supplier doesn't have them. No one seems to have them.
-
Yes correct, but I'm old. The breakers were the correct ones but they were DIN mount and not Plug In mount. My fault. I thought that a breaker for a specific plug in Consumer Unit would be plug in not DIN mount.

I sent the seller my bank details (by picture), which worked, so will wait and see what happens.

I returned the same 2 items in the same package as they arrived in. I stuffed up, somehow, and was refunded for 1 item, but second one, return was cancelled. It's difficult to communicate to the seller. They acknowledge the 2 items were returned and that one was refunded, but as the second one was somehow cancelled, they are finding it difficult to give me my refund. I have no fault with the seller but think it is the Lazada process that is the problem. The seller goes by the handle "plugon 28", but I can't contact them outside the Lazada app. The seller asked me to send my bank account details so they could refund, but messages back have been blocked by Lazada. The seller is (seems) willing to give me the other item refund as well, but because that item was 'return cancelled' (maybe I pressed the wrong button), there's a Catch 22. Is it best to try and contact Lazada by phone to sort this out, or what to do.

This is my setup. From a 60m bore the water goes to the 3000L settlement tank where the water iron settles, then to two big filters, one EcoGlass (smashed plate glass) and one carbon. From there to a Big Blue sediment filter. This filtered water goes to the house and all the yard. The water also goes to a 5 stage filter in the kitchen for drinking water. Yard water goes to some sprinkler controllers set for 20 min in the morning and afternoon. Initially I had the water tested and selected the filter medium from the water test results. The submersible pump on/off is controlled by a float switch in the tank

800K Method Changing Banks
carlyai replied to JWNZ's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You still have to maintain B400000 in the bank while you change. So I think you get your next extension, transfer B400000, then 3 months later transfer another B400000. I gave up and just left the B800000 with the old bank and just opened new other accounts. I'd check with the local Imm. Sorry not much help. -
We had this problem ( years ago in Pattaya Suksabai Village) Some village people tried to do something but always too hard. Estate developer eventually had enough. Got rid of the guards, check points and road cleaning and eventually the 2 roads in and out went back to Pattaya City mob. Still kept our place there as it was the origional show home.

Is there a recommended back (lumbar) specialist at this hospital or in the Isaan region? Thanks

My mate is having trouble with FB. 'For violating community standards your account has been restricted for 48 or 24 hours'. But he doesn't know what he did wrong or how to fix the problem. Any ideas?

I contacted Schneider Electrics Australia and they said there is only the RCCB 3 phase DIN connector type. There must be a reason Schneider make the plug-in module CU, they make a 3 phase plug-in MCB, but not a 3 phase RCCB. Placed back in the 'In Hand' basket.
-
Yep. So I could maybe install 6 Plug-in RCBO's or make up 2 DIN boxes with DIN RCCB's. Not as nice as finding the correct Plug-in. Explanation: I have two 3 phase multi-point instant hot water services. They are wired as per installation instructions both earthed. I'm slowely replacing breakers I think should be earth leakage trip and would like to replace the 3 phase MCB's for the water heaters.
-
Yes I realise it's a DIN mount, but I want the breaker with a plug in mount as in the pic. Thanks. I can't seem to find the RCCB with a plug-in mount, though there are 3 phase breakers with plug-in mounts, but can't find a RCCB.
-
Me too. Sometimes the page loads after a few attempts, other times does not load. What's the problem or fix?
-
I'm looking for two A9Z21425 Acti9 ilD 4P 25A RCCB's. Sompar company is looking for me, but no success at the moment. My Consumer Unit is the Schneider plug-in type. Anyone know where I might get these breakers?

Switch Electric off at Meter? Possible?
carlyai replied to STD Warehouse's topic in The Electrical Forum
What's this 'arc flashing' thinggy? In the villages they pull the meter leads out all the time and just leave them floating in air. Probably see it more, up country at the moment as trucks navigate low power lines to collect sugar cane and crops. A rusty, half bladed screwdriver, empty paint can to stand on, small breakfast 90 degree) out come the leads. Never seen an 'arc flash' in the village (though I've seen a few huge flashes in a large 5 HF 250 KW transmitting site. When the DC to those huge electron tubes had a problem...meltdown. Coronas or Plumes used to form from the antennas to dragonflies etc. You could see this intense lightning from the antenna to space and music sound coming from the spot). No worries. But always my buddies to pull the leads here. :) -
Illegal wiring in Pattaya condos has been going on for years. Bankok owners just visiting for a weekend, power has been disconnected, just temp. Run power for their visit. Condos must have such a high chance of catching on fire due to all these suspect electrical re-configutes. 3 meters for 1 condo, equates to the mindset of the managers. Spread that over the whole condo. Death traps. Have you ever checked your fire escape, right to the outside road? I bet a clear path doesn't exist. Check it in the evening when the fire escape doors are locked.
